Heritage Trail can be on your route by default, the clients' recommendation is to visit this bar. The Irish cuisine is good at McCarthy's Red Stag Pub. I enjoyed the food I got and will eat here again! I wanted to try one of the dessert drinks/ desserts but was too full. I will definitely be coming back to try one or both.

My wife and I stopped in. I forgot about there recent fire but they had our favorites. Fish and chips and bangers and mash. Both entrees were delicious and the whiskey was wonderful as well. Easily one of the best places to dine or grab a drink on Main Street. The food is filled with flavor and always made good and fresh. The drink selection is quite large and very good! Service has always been good here as well. The atmosphere is likely what you’d find in a pub in Ireland and plenty of outdoor seating as well. They also have live music sometimes as well. Update: We came by again during this past snow storm and had an amazing server named Kyle. While he was definitely busy, he still provided us great service and friendly interactions. Cheers! As someone who has eaten here for years, and have previously left a 5 start review, my husband and I were quite disappointed. This is always our go to for a special night out which doesn't happen too often. Since our last visit, the menu has changed entirely. The new one page menu is extremely hard to read and feels very jumbled. My go to was always the Galtee, a refreshing salad with great protein and a terrific black currant dressing. I was very disappointed to see it no longer on the menu, and the fact they only have one single salad option now was surprising. Also no more Tots/tot of the day which we always looked forward to as our appetizer. I was sad, and decided to venture and try something new since we already were there and had our drinks. I settled with the red stag cheese steak. A great concept but I felt it lacking in flavor and was very bland. My husband's go to is always fish and chips, and while the price has been raised; I get it everything is pricier, the portion was really lacking and we both left hungry. Not sure what's happened here, but I don't think will be out go to spot anymore.

Service was amazing. Our waiter was attentive and comical. Food was great and fresh. It came out very quick. I had the fish and chips, portion of fish was ok, I thought it would be bigger for $22 but it was very good. Husband had the Red Stagg Cheesesteak and he enjoyed it. Recommend: coffee, chicken and waffles (not pictured), Irish breakfast Good: bread pudding* Ok: potato and leek soup, salmon breakfast, corned beef cheesesteak The bread pudding was pretty firm, I enjoyed it but it might not be for everyone. The coffee was smooth and nice. Chicken and waffles had burnt tasting chips but the chicken was cooked nicely. The waffle looked burnt but didn't taste bad. Sausages/puddings on the Irish breakfast were nice. Soup was thin and the salmon and cheese steak were salty. Price per person $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

First time here celebrating a birthday! The decor and environment are beautiful with the wood work and colors it makes for a warm experience. Inside is very much cramped but there is outdoor seating. We sat at the bar with a not so personable bartender who could care less about chatting or even holding a convo that lasted more then 3 words.. She came off very rude but we didn't let her ruin our first time to this Establishment even though she was very neglectful to the point we finally asked the others bartender to get another drink. The food was so tongue teasing with sweet yet spicy flavors it was a mouth party 🤤 you will not be disappointed (with the food anyways) Manager Crystal was very welcoming and inviting after our 1.5 hr travel to the beautiful town..
