Used to be a reliable store with decent prices. The last several years, it has gone down hill in several categories. Produce is not maintained properly (rotting produce in the bins), Prices are not attractive relative to other grocery stores nearby. The move to self check out is a joke as well. They are going on over a year now with a ridiculous system that locks the wheels of your shopping cart as you exit the store, for no reason. Worst customer experience anyone could design.

So glad to see that your Price Chopper at Quivira and 135th carries Oregon Pie Fillings. Hen House does not carry Oregon products, only Best Choice Pie Filling. There is no comparison. Oregon is a much better product. I am now a Price Chopper customer and I have quit shopping Hen House.🍰

This store is always so clean and organized. The workers are friendly for the most part. I was very disappointed that they didn’t have the flavor of pizza that I wanted. They are the only store that carries it. The food at the deli always good and looks so fresh. I recommend this Price Chopper location.

Martha in the floral department is wonderful! She did the florals for my daughters wedding, we were extremely happy! Very detail oriented and immaculate taste! Highly recommend, just beautiful!

I like the store itself, but I do not like their way of handling security issues. There is a couple who walks around the store trying to lure people into an MLM/pyramid scheme, but management has done nothing about this although it has been reported to them. They simply said that they would only intervene if they directly witnessed him during the act or that they would call the police. The face and name of the man have already been identified, so I feel that a simple solution would be to simply stop the man the next time he enters the store, give him a warning to cease his solicitation and ban him from the store if he does not comply. Please be aware of this issue and be cautious if a man or a couple approaches you. They generally seem to begin by striking up small talk and complimenting your clothing, and then move on to talking about financial freedom or similar.

Went to buy cheese. I unknowingly bought cheese that was over a month past its sell-by date. Turns out there is still cheese that expired July 5th 2022 on the shelf! Better look to make sure the cheese is still good. On a side note they were super friendly.

They are selling Pie Five Pizza take home kits with no instructions on how to cook them. I thought the instructions were in the box. Wrong. When I called the store for help the deli person gave a a generic temp and time the might work to cook the pizzas. DO NOT waste your time on this product. Very disappointed in the store to sell something with no help on how to prepare. Thank you for ruining a family meal and letting me throw 45 dollars away. Will NOT be visiting your store again.

I go here before work to get lunch and this isnt the first time this has happened. I had bought a chicken wrap, it was literally rancid and rotten when I opened it up but it had a current sell by date and the outside looked good. A good waste of money and a quick way to get food poisoning. Had a similar thing happen last month with a samwich and decided to give it another shot thinking it was a one off event. Do not buy anything that this price chopper makes in house unless you like rotten food and stomach aches. Edit afterwards- I took a bite of the wrap before I saw it spoiled and now, 45 minutes after, I am throwing up. This place needs to get shut down ASAP.

My partner likes to come here to shop because there are some good deals every so often. The store is clean for the most part, everything is zoned, at least during the day. At night it's horrible. I see everyone mentioning only two cashier's and a ton of shoppers. Which is true. Stop paying these people minimum wage and they'll feel more entitled to work. You're a multi million dollar company which has millions in revenue, you can afford to pay these people more

Worst price Chopper in the metro. You literally if you try to push your grocery cart out with your receipt in your hand get locked and can’t push your cart. Then half the time no one is there to unlock it so you just stand there like a fool waiting. If you’re going to do that go back to paying people to check you out and guys to push your carts out there. Stop killing the economy eliminating jobs by self checkout then locking our carts down. Remember when there were an actual cash register checkers and baggers? Go back to that start paying people instead of computers then not trusting people to check themselves out. It’s the most ridiculous system ever
