Not very welcoming to new comers. It appears to be a place where everyone knows everyone. More like a private club. There is no one to wait on tables. I had to ask the not so friendly bartender how to order food. He pointed to an open door in the back. We stood at the door for awhile until I asked a nearby table if we had to go through the door. It turns out you step inside and someone will take your order. They do bring it to the table. The food is very good and inexpensive. Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Recommended dishes Cheese Steak

We had homemade Halupki and it was good. The prices are excellent. A shot and a beer was only $2.25 and 5 Halupki were $10. This place has been around for Many Years. Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Cheese Steak

Haven't been here in over 15 years was hoping to have some of the Fried chicken they served unfortunately it's no longer on the menu I recognized a couple people don't remember name's it's still not a bad place just changed with the times. It still has that local tavern feel.

Best place around for good food at low prices. Also very inexpensive beer and drinks. If the beers were colder, I'd be here daily.

Super affordable legendary local bar. Don't worry, it IS a public place even though it seems like you're walking into someone's house. Had a late night cheese steak that was way better than I expected and a few mixed drinks and spent about 10 bucks! You do have to go to the kitchen to place your food order. We will be back for sure

Very pleasant atmosphere, kind of like the “Cheers” bar of Catasaqua or Catty to the locals. Very reasonable prices for draft beer and shots. Everyone, customers and bartenders were friendly and welcoming.
