My boyfriend and I met and had our first date here a year ago. We returned for our anniversary and the experience almost ruined our night. Restaurant was at less than 1/2 capacity and we were sat at one of the worst tables even when we had a reservation and he had told them we were celebrating. We asked to move and after we did we were ignored by staff. After struggling to find something we wanted on the menu we finally ordered and both meals did not taste as expected. Meat was not seasoned well and tasted freezer burnt. When asked about the food, he gave honest feedback and we were met with uncomfortable amounts of defensiveness about the food— as shown in responses to honest reviews. Mezzos did comp his meal and gifted us a dessert. We ended up paying and leaving to a different restaurant in town to help salvage the evening. We will not be returning. Attended the New Years Eve overpriced dinner. First app was tasteless, rice ball had no short rib as advertised, soup had a medicinal taste, lobsters ravioli had no lobster! And I was was charged $60 for a bottle of Ferrari Carrano Chardonnay that sells for $18. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
