First time I ordered from Mike’s on Charlotte and this may be the best Italian sub I’ve ever eaten. The customer service at this place is phenomenal! The employees really seem to appreciate the loyal customers who come back time and again which is something that is only found in small businesses. I had ordered a large pizza and garlic knots and was sadly disappointed when I got my order. The pizza looked as though it was baked and then the onions were added on after baking and the garlic knots didn’t come with any melted butter. I called and complained and the lady who I spoke to was very apologetic and said they had someone new in the kitchen and even offered to remake the order for me personally. I just had their deep dish pizza for the first time since they added it to the menu. I have always wanted to try it, but I was living in California at the time. This was the most delicious pizza I've ever had. Mike's always makes good pizza, but this was above and beyond. I will definitely be ordering this again. The food is good, but I'd advise against delivery. One time, I ordered and paid for 2 slices of pepperoni pizza, and I received 1 cheese slice and 1 pepperoni slice. Mike brick oven pizza has excellent food, however if you go in on a Wednesday night when it's pizza special night, Don't expect your pizza to be cooked very well. They are so busy they rushed them out, I usually take it home and throw it back in the oven and cook it more, I like my pizzas or crispy on the bottom. This is disappointing! My wife and I ordered two 12 inch chicken cheesesteaks. Mine is untouched with sauce and fried onions (mind you, they are on a half cut 18 inch roll, hence the reason mine looks like half of a steak) , hers, plain..she took half and started eating. She came to me and said this is trash. She proceeded to show me cold chicken and cold slices of cheese as if it were a deli sandwich! What the hell is going on here? Number one, be transparent with your customers. If you didn't have 12 Inch rolls, then tell your customers that upon ordering. Number two, workers.....stop being lazy putting out lazy food!! There's no reason a cheesesteak should have cold meat and cold fully formed slices of cheese on them. This tells me...the meat had been sitting cold, you slapped some cheese on the roll and cold meat on the top. Even if the meat was hot, once the sandwich was wrapped up, it would've melted the cheese. Come on man, do better for your customers! Meal type Dinner Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

At my daughter's house and she told me about Mike's Pizza. They had my favorite, steak fries with gravy. The pizza, steak fries and mozzarella stick were excellent. And they also had my favorite candy, sugar daddy's 😋 Service Delivery Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50

The most horrible thing I've wasted money on. Idk what cheese they use but 🤢. However, this was a nostalgic purchase since it's been since I was a student in PSD that I've had it. I'll stick to the breadsticks if there is a next time. Happy they are surviving and thriving in the neighborhood, but it's a No for me - sorry.
