The Mill Stop Cafe in Pueblo is a local establishment that offers authentic Mexican cuisine at reasonable prices. The restaurant's interior design may be modest, but its warm and friendly ambiance makes up for it. The portions are large, and the food is flavorful and fresh. The place is always busy, but the attentive staff ensures that every customer is taken care of. The menu features classic Mexican dishes such as stuffed sopapillas, chili rellenos, and burritos. The green chili sauce is a must-try, and the salsa trio is a great starter. For those who prefer non-Mexican cuisine, there are options like burgers and fried shrimp. The Mill Stop Cafe is located in an older part of town, across the interstate from the Old Steel Mill, but it is well-maintained and clean. Although the restaurant does not have outdoor seating or live music, it is a great spot for families and friends to gather and enjoy a meal together. Overall, the Mill Stop Cafe is a fine dining spot that offers delicious Mexican food, exceptional service, and a welcoming atmosphere. It is a must-visit for anyone passing through Pueblo.

Everyone was super friendly. Great customer serves would be better with a heads up about the food. Ordered a chicken chili rellano it came out boiled chicken no seasoning with Anaheim chili that wasn’t even peeled all the way and it was pretty much and amlet(no where close to the way it should be). The chili that was smothered was bland and not hot and what tasted like sandwich American sliced cheese.haven’t been there for a while definitely a new chef or owner because I remember it being so much better very disappointing !!! My husband, daughter and I drive all the way down there from Springs to get mill stop! There's no other feeling like walking in and feeling so welcome and inviting.. my mom and auntie also have been going there for years and years. They love it!!! Keep up the hospitality!!!:) Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Chicken Tacos on White
Our experience can be summed up in one word - wow. To start, these are some of the friendliest people we ever met. Everyone who works here is inviting, friendly and professional. We had a great time chatting and joking around with them. The food was superb! The chips come with three delicious sauces and each of the entrees were bursting with flavor. The sopapillas were a fantastic dessert to end an amazing meal. I wish I could give this place 6 stars. Everything was great and I'm sad that it's so far away from where I reside. What an awesome little place. Everyone is so friendly and attentive. The only down side for me was the lack of any breakfast meats on the menu. Regardless, I'll definitely be back whenever I pass thru Pueblo. Bonus: they bring you a fresh sopapilla when your meal is about finished. Estela's was highly recommended (4.7 stars) on Google when searching for a locally owned restaurant in Pueblo. Well, this just goes to show that whether something is good or bad, is wholly subjective. This is a fun, super small, family owned and operated restaurant. The place was packed at 2:00 p.m. We were seated quickly and the service was fast, professional and friendly. A sign above the door says they take their happiness seriously! They get 5 stars for all of that. When it comes to the food, however, I have to say we were disappointed. I had chicken tacos and the meat was dry and with no flavor, seriously, no seasoning was used. When you add iceberg lettuce and unripe tomatoes, what you have is a taco that is crying to be smothered in hot sauce or something! The grilled cheese and fries were also lackluster. So, to be clear, we thoroughly enjoyed the service and learning of the story of the restaurant. Sadly, at least these food items need help.

Always busy but ALWAYS worth the wait! Scrumptious green chili and amazing enchiladas, deep fried tacos, and every other Mexican delicacy you can imagine, cooked and served by different generations of the same friendly family. All topped off with an incredible sopaipilla for dessert. Do yourself a favor and visit the next time you're looking for a great meal!
Was told about this little place on a recommendation from a customer, and it did not disappoint! Both the beef and chicken tacos were super tasty 👌 plus hot homemade sopapillas at the end. YUM. Great family atmosphere, super friendly customer service. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Chicken Tacos on White

Delicious food, enough to fill up a grown man. Servers pay close attention to your needs. People are welcomed at the door like a homecoming. Old school diner vibe. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We had our first experience this past weekend at the Mill Stop. Locals absolutely love this restaurant. I thought the food was decent. The service was impeccable and I was thoroughly impressed with them. My only complaint is the size of the dining room. Although I enjoyed my dining experience at the Mill Stop, I doubt that I would ever stand out on the sidewalk waiting for a seat. I realize the building has some historical significance, but a larger dining room would definitely make for an overall better dining experience. Fun diner in the Bessemer neighborhood of Pueblo. The most accommodating and friendly staff I have ever encountered. This place is BUSY with diners as well as take out orders but, somehow they manage to get diners seated and fed without much of a wait. Had the El Burro with green chile and rice. Only complaint I have is that I needed another tortilla for the abundance of green chile you get with this dish. 😋 Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
