All the dishes are very tasty. As written by other people, the coconut cheesecake is exceptional. We also tried Coconut ice cream and grilled fish fillet. Both were delicious 🤤. The owners are very friendly and polite. The seating is outside so it gets hot and flies can be a problem. However, it is still worth a visit. Nice place, not as cheap as stated on other posts, but good food. Didn't had the chance to try to coconut cheesecake. You shoul reserve it in the morning before going to Anse Grand Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Ok y’all let’s talk food! This place is literally the best buffet in the country. Mimi and her daughter run one of the friendliest spots on the island. All local food, all handmade. Of all the fish tho you have to wake up early and get the cheesecake! It’s in limited supply, she only makes one or two a day, and they go fast! Fantastic authentic experience! We went to the Creole buffet and the food was amazing! Mimi the proprietor is a very nice lady, had a wonderful meal, the desserts are also delicious. The coconut cheese cake is a "revelation" - the best cake of my life. The base is crispy with a slightly salty character, the layer of coconut with cream cheese (?) or mascarpone (?) is unique. Fluffy, light and unbelievably delicious! 👌😋🤤 In 2 years I will come back to the Seychelles and would like to marry my boyfriend there - I want this cake as my wedding cake 😊 We also tried the creole buffet. This is only possible with a reservation. It was very delicious. Before that, the managerin of the house gave a short speech and explained the dishes to us. We also thought it was nice that we had the opportunity to ask what kind of food it was and how it was prepared when we picked up the food. We liked the breadfruit gratin and the octopus salad very much. It was all delicious.👍 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

Friendly staff and a good restaurant if you’re looking to eat on your way to Grand Anse beach. The food was ok. I wasn’t a fan of the fried chicken. The chicken tasted like a mixture of curry batter. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch

Really wanted to like this place. It has a very cosy set up in the jungle and it is run by a family. The food was very average though. I ordered calamaris and I couldn't take more than a couple of bites. Unfortunately they didn't have any of their famous cheesecake either. Absolutely amazing place to be ! This is the best place to be in La digue. What a great family running this cafe. And oh my god the coconut cheesecake is something else! You can’t get this cheesecake anywhere in Seychelles ( I been looking everywhere for 3 weeks on Seychelles trust me!) We stopped once in this place by accident and since that day we came back there again and again. Also booked the creole buffet night and it was SOOO YUMMY. We left this place absolutely full and was talking about this food until rest of our holidays in Seychelles. I wish the team of Mimi’s Cafe more and more years of successful business. If we will ever come back to La digue I will definitely come to your place ! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

Nice simple eatery in a nice quiet area on the way to Grand Anse. Food was delicious and the people were very nice. The good was prepared on order and reasonably priced. I had to try the coconut pie. Delicious.
