Having seen Silver Spring Library, it's time to have a rest at this bar. Taste good mixed grill, honey wings and tuna that are offered at Mix Bar and Grille. This place is famous for delicious draft beer, wine or rum. Great tea is the most popular drinks of this place. You can listen to live music in the evening. I ordered the mix African tapas. Food is for birds. Definitely overpriced with small portions. Not even 1 plantain in it and Suya is just grilled meat. Will never oreder from here again. Service Delivery Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 1

I came here for a friend's birthday. She reserved several tables for a buffet dinner. The package included 2 bottles of champagne. The reservation was for 7pm, food wasn't ready until almost 9pm. Drinks were slow because the ice machine was broken and they were out of liquor - they sent people to go buy both. The band spend a couple of hours rehearsing while patrons sat in the restaurant, which contributed to my headache... The DJ that came out afterward was good. The building has speakers outside that play the music also, and shrieks with a lot of feedback if you ever step outside to hear it. The waitstaff was nice and attentive. There was an issue with a doorman who brought his plate over to our buffet and helped himself to some food... what the heck! He was called out and put it back 🤦🏾‍♀️ The food was good, but not enough for the amount of people that were paid for. We were served water in plastic cups and also given plastic flatware. Clean, great food, lovely ambiance, live music was plus with a mix of DJ before and afterwards. Decor nice. I had a great time! Only reason why I gave them a 4 which would have been a 4.5 was because when I went to sit down at a table there was nothing stating that it was reserved as well as I asked the young man that worked there, so half way through the night I ended up having to get up. I def would have seated myself elsewhere had I not been told it was available. But all in all I loved the fact that the atmosphere catered to grown and sexy 👍🏾.

Yeah, the whole bar changed after a girl got set up there. I think she was set up the DJ and 2 fat girls. was working with the bartender and was spiking girl's drinks. She woke up the next day her stomach was hurting. She was sick as she couldn't remember what happened after just 2 drinks. She said she remembered throwing up a pill. Something definitely wasnt right this was summer 2022 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

This was a disappointment. When we arrived we came in for cocktails and learned that they specifically made 6-8 drinks. When asked about other common cocktails we were informed that they didn’t have the liquor ingredients for a mule, an old fashioned, etc. we ordered dinner and there were several menu items not available at the time of our visit. We also were not expecting such a large bill but it was fine. The atmosphere was friendly and the staff was attentive. There appeared to be many people who came for dancing and they looked very happy. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100

We recently hosted a holiday event at Mix Bar and Grille and couldn't be more pleased with the space, food and drink. There were more than enough comfortable chairs and tables for dining, but it was also open enough to allow for mingling and some dancing. The food and drinks were delicious (recommend the rum punch!). And Juste and the bartenders were all friendly, attentive, and accommodating to our needs. I hope to have an excuse to host another event here soon. Would highly recommend!

I was visiting from out of town and saw there was a a throwback event online for the night before Thanksgiving at the lounge. I made food reservations (on your site) and everything. I ubered (which wasn't cheap) to the location and went in. The staff seemed extremely surprised about me making a reservation. Then, I was told the establishment was closed for a private event. If your establishment is closed to the public, it needs to be advertised to the public. I paid to go across counties for nothing. In addition, when I walked in, it did not seem welcoming. It was very off and next time I'm visiting home, I'm hesitant to come to this lounge. Please do better. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Had a fabulous time and celebrated my birthday. Amazing carribean music and beautiful ambiance. The band was very welcoming, kind and did shout out birthdays , got to dance on stage. Awesome customer service, delicious food and drinks. I would definitely come here again for the live music and ambiance and food😊🥰🥳🎉

New nite spot in downtown Silver Spring, the afro Caribbean cuisine is very tasty although the buffet ran out pretty quickly. MOST of the bartenders are pretty friendly. Good change of pace for Silver Spring.

The restaurant has a new theme night on Wednesdays!!!! It's salsa and bachata dancing!!! I had their jerk chicken legs and rice and beans. The legs of pollo were muy grande! They had great flavor and were not too spicy. There is a long bar and ample space for sitting when you need to rest from busting a move! The dance floor is ok for dancing, it's not wood but I was also not dancing in dance shoes. Fortunately I was comfortable being led into 2 spins, yay for that skill! Overall the location is great, parking is easy, they have awesome DJ Renzo and they had good food.
