The workers here were incredibly helpful. It was my first day in the Azores and I have very limited comprehension of the Portuguese language. I also had my service dog. I had a hard time finding stuff. Every worker in this store that I asked for help finding stuff, helped me. Kudos to the staff at Modelo Continente Ribeira Grande. 10/10 ⭐ I am grateful for your help.

I have been to this Continente around 20+ times (certain things you can only get there) and always waited at least 10 Minutes at the checkout, sometimes up to 30 minutes. Considering that you pay between 10 and 100 % more than in other supermarkets, this is ridiculous

Dear continente riviera We were shopping with you today spending 91.15 euro at 18.22 Our Renault was parked right outside your front door see numberplate on image enclosed We put the shopping a red canvas bag and a plastic shopping back in the boot of the car We locked the car and went for a coffee Later we discovered the shopping had been stolen from the boot . We had not stopped anywhere else I’m sure you will do all you can to prevent theft from right outside your door. I look forward to hearing from you asap.

Regular supermarket chain found throughout Portugal. Good for all kinds of groceries, fish, meat, vegetables, wine, beer, cheese, spirits, all you may need at home. Never had any troubles parking as the car park is quite big.

Good all round supermarket. 2nd largest on the island after the one in Ponta Delgada. If youre a tourist and tourist and you've rented accommodations along the northern coast then this is your more convenient option. Good produce, good bakery, good wine selection. All you need
