So delicious and so expensive. The steamed siakap did not taste fishy at all. The fried squid was amazingggg. Service was fast & the servers were friendly too. Restaurant has nice ambiance and the combination of fast spinning fan & aircond made me feel like I was in Canada. Our server also advised us to download their app and get RM5 discount & 2 free mochis. Our total bill (2 pax) was RM113.65 #crying

Had lunch on a Thursday before cny. Food took an hour to arrive, drinks took 40 minutes, with a missing drink. We had to tell them 4 times to get the missing drink, poor girl waited 65 minutes for her drink. They dropped 2 plates of food on the floor at separate times. Another customer had to insist many times for the waiter to throw away the bao on the floor, he wanted to serve it to someone else. Gross. We added one more dish, but found out 20 minutes later that they didn't even put the order in. They also didn't serve the yeesang as the first dish, so we had it for dessert.. :( The outdoor seating was very warm. Haven't seen such a poorly managed restaurant. Food was good though, except the yeesang.

Halal Chinese Cuisine restaurant. We have tried the Dim Sum, fried rice and black pepper beef. The black pepper beef rice was good. Soft shell crab fried rice was fine. But the machine made frozen dim sum is a bit disappointing.
The main dining area that consists of round tables is nice and clean, but we sat at the side AC tables, and there were mosquitoes and flies. Hope they can improve the pest control at the premise.
The price is slightly higher but affordable. Parking is available outside of the restaurant.

What a dull and very unpleasant restaurant. Manager is busy trying to be a boss, he is forgetting that making customer feel welcome is most important.
THE ONLY BEST MOHD CHAN IS STILL IN MELAKA.

We had always wanted to try out Chinese Muslim cuisine, especially their dim-sum. However, the suspicion of their prowess in creating dim sum without pork (as they need to be halal) always cast a big doubt in our mind.
When Mohd Chan gave out discounts via an online platform for International Women Day, we took the opportunity to purchase the voucher, and we were glad we did that to give us the impetus to try them out.
Not that their dim sum is anything spectacular and/or to shout about, but got to admit that they taste good, and the quality and texture were a surprise to us.
BBQ Bun - technically char siew bao with chicken fillings. Taste wise , for the fillings are good. Not too saucy and not saltish like some kopitiam version. Mohd Chan's version is way above those Chinese kopitiam versions. The bao dough is thick (a flaw in the world of dim sum) but soft and fluffy. For those who eat char siew bao for their dough and not so much for the fillings, then they will like Mohd Chan's version.
Dim Sum - mainly just the Siew Mai versions. They have a variety of them with various colours, probably to differentiate types of meat. We have had chicken and beef. Again, taste wise, okay, just that it is a bit dry due to the meat lacks oil.
Frankly, with the limitation of not using pork (by nature has more oil) and relying on chicken meat, they are doing their best. If there is a dim sum master who can create dim sum without pork and still maintains the moist and smoothness, that is the master of all masters.
However, if Mohd Chan can start using the bamboo steamer to steam and keep their bao and dim sum hot, we believe this is the first step of moving closer to the Chinese dim sum master.

Good place also for company event around 25pax. Owner very supportive and friendly. Foods are delicious, bit pricey but suit the taste.
Edit: This is my 4 or 5th time here. As always, the food is delicious and taste was on point. For lunch the portion for 9pax per table was just enough. Should order for larger portion of you eat plenty.
Next time I want to try their nasi ayam or dimsum and pao.
One of the newest Mohd Chan restaurant chains in Glenmarie. The ambience is different with other branch which is nice and air conditioning. The food is great except for the salted egg sauce sotong is really disappointed for me. The service is slow but it is okay.
Lunched on invitation by a neighbour who relocated. Not many choices in this part of the woods. Tried the beef cantonese noodles - had some wok hei to it and ginger. Beef was tender. Missing spring ònions and the runny egg. As good as it gets otherwise. Waited for a while for lunch.
