Enjoyed at delicious dinner at Moms Hilo. Great Sushi and Japanese cuisine. Our waitress Lindsay was attentive, professional and very cheerful. We had their Sushi Fresh Local Avocado Roll - which was light abd refreshing Smashed Q salad - very tasty and definitely delicious We both picked something from their Huihui Noodles I tried their Char Siu Noodle - noodles flavored with Shoyu Sayand topped with fresh vegetables- also very tasty My boyfriend had their Tan Tan Noodles - noodles flavored with sesame paste, topped with Miso ground pork (I loved the flavor) and topped with fresh vegetables Definitely will go back and try more of their sushi rolls and the Chef Specials. Although the restaurant was extremely busy our waitress Lindsay was wonderful. Highly recommend. We had tuna carpaccio, Saba & ginger, spicy tuna rolls and marlin sashimi salad. The only reason we give it 4 stars for food is its limited sushi selection. HOWEVER, everything was very tasty. Great vibes! Dined in on a Saturday evening.I ordered the veggie sushi, Geishas dream, and they were delicious! The platter was finely sauced and bursting with an assortment of local veggies. The cocktail was a nice sweet drink. We also had some amazing live music. Highly recommended! Service Dine in

Food is pretty good. They are known for soupless noodles so if you are looking for a bowl of ramen swimming, better look for another eatery. Tan Tan Noodles and Char Siu Noodles are so good. Noodles are cooked just right and broth is rich in flavor. Smashed Q is a god appetizer which is only $5 and pretty tasty. Mixed Salad is the best! It’s bowl is prepared well and you’ll surely love the colorful seasoned mix of salad in your bowl. The Japanese dressing is the best! Yakitori Bites is the best I ever had! Texture is superb and super tasty. The $8 price ain’t bad as they pretty gave a generous portion. You gotta order this! Customer Service is good and the chef’s are the most friendliest. Too bad they weren’t wearing their mask properly while preparing the food. But still I highly recommended you to try their scrumptious menu! Happy juandering fellow Juanderers! The owner/host really cares for her restaurant, staff and customers. There are thoughtful touches in the decor that are lovely and she made us a cocktail on request off the menu. Prep kitchen, not full kitchen restaurant. Doing their best to impress. Spent about $30 and got 6 thin slices of sushi fish pieces on a large plate and a salad. Walked out hungry, walked next door to order some onion rings ! -- If you want a quaint place to impress, one other with slow service Moms the word!. Ok -- Not a place for the hungry. -- Enjoy J

Had some of the best food I’ve ever had! The smashed cucumber, char siu noodles and the Ahi Carpaccio. 10 out of 10! Food was so good. If you don’t know what to get, talk to the server or chef, their recommendations are great. i’m shaking my head at some of these negative reviews. What are these people thinking? this place is amazing. completely disagree about anything being overpriced, it’s beyond reasonable for the quality. some poor souls can’t recognize what’s good 🥺 the owner/chef is a true Japanese homie. kind, generous, talented. the dishes felt like something your Japanese mom would cook you. Ingredients were fresh and local, dishes were unique and authentic. We got the mixed salad, so many textures bright flavors. saba+salmon, cold veggie noodles, and yaki tori don. Great attention to detail from the rice quality to beer selection. Surprise perk a great selection of whiskeys. Really lovely local feel to this place. pls try ! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
