What an amazing place, loved the view, the wine was really good as per my husband. Several times he was talking about it during the wine tasting so we had to take a bottle back to the east coast.
What also makes this place a great place to visit, is the food and most of all the staff members. Just like each wine bottle has its own unique flavor profile, body, and personality; the staff is amazing. They are welcoming, and willing to recommend some of their favs. I did not meet all their employees but I am sure they are all wonderful. Here are a few that deserve our shout out- Nico, Nicolette, Drake, and Tristan. Nico, it was apparent you are very proud of your roots and your nonna. Thank you for sharing about culture and where you come from. It was a pleasure to meet all of you!
Please have the owner work on shipping to Virginia. I know we are being selfish but for a good reason.
I enjoyed myself here. The wine was good. I feel that the price point was a little high for the quality though. The food was also good. Some parts of the grounds were nicer than the others but I had a pleasant afternoon.
We became wine club members last year during our first visit. The atmosphere is amazing and we have found some of our favorite wines (Barbera, Montepulciano and Fedele). More than anything else, we love the staff! We look forward to our monthly visits.

Had an amazing experience, Went with my Fiancé to hangout at the venue as we are getting married there in August. Tristan helped us out with some tastings and he was fantastic. Super knowledgeable on the wine selections and had great recommendations that fit our likings! We ended up signing up for the membership as well! 10/10 service, we were thrilled on our visit. We are longtime Fallbrook residents and have been following the transition from golf course to winery with interest. The winery seems much better in every way.
Last Sunday the wife and I decided to come in and enjoy a glass of wine and a pizza, it was a great choice !
The wines we tried were crisp, tasty and refreshing whites. We now plan to have some tastings to try all of the Monserate wines. While walking through the vineyard, we noticed that the vines are just now coming in to their prime, and the wine should only get even better !
The pizza was delicious, reminded both of us of the pizzas we had during a summer stay on Lago Maggiore in Italy, they were simple, thin and delicious, much like the one we got yesterday. We’re looking forward to sample some of the other menu items at Monserate.
We’re going to come back on a weekday to see how that compares to the undoubtably more crowded weekend.
Last but not least, the band was really good too !
One of the best vineyards in the San Diego area. Very good wine. Fantastic friendly servers and staff. Breathtaking beautiful grounds. Live music. Great food. Craft beer and adjacent hiking trails. Highly recommended.
Just visited for the first time even though we live 10 minutes away…caught a beautiful sunset…enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine and a very yummy stone-fire pizza while we sat on the couches overlooking the pond watching the ducks swim and listening to the frogs croak and later the coyotes yip and howl to start their evening hunt. Staff were all super friendly and helpful…had a great time and will be back…along with friends and family…thanks!
