We went to Monserrate Colombia Cuisine as a recommendation from someone at the hotel we were staying at, as an authentic Colombian food. Now, understand, the restaurant is relatively small and inside a convenience store, but never judge a book by it's cover. The food was excellent! The chicken empanadas are to die for. But even more than the food, was the service. The restaurant is own and operated by a family and they are super friendly. Their interest in providing you with a good meal experience, is phenomenal. We are from Florida, so we have plenty of Columbian restaurants, but I have never been to one this cozy and friendly before. I will definitely come back every time I'm in the Seattle area.
