Good food & beautiful interior. Had various menus on the table. Lamb tandoori was the best, very tender & tasty. Though butter chicken was too sweet, not for us who love hot and spicy. Awesome spot with great ambiance. Quite a popular restaurant with a bar. Would recommend booking as space is limited. A number of vegan options available, the eggplant is 11/10. Rice will cost extra so don’t forget to order that. Cannot wait to come back and try more. Had a fantastic night last night with my husband's colleagues. The ambience of this place is nice. Even though it was busy, service was prompt and friendly. The ambience is very much like thai restaurant. But it’s a hybrid of south East Asian (I.e Indian, Malay, Indonesian, Thai etc). When they warn you it’s spicy, it’s actually extremely SPICY 🌶️🌶️🌶️. The service is good, the food is good too. Ofcourse different to other restaurants around (which has a different vibe) but I equally love this place. I think the highlight is, they have 5$ drinks or shots everyday. Not happy hour, rather all hour of the day, and each day of the week it’s different drink. And they are pretty decent bottles of drink as well, so very much worth your money in my opinion. We loved this place and will visit next time! Probably one of our top 5 places in NZ. nice location by the viaduct and convienently next to the downtown parking building. Food comes out fast and we enjoyed the wontons and tandoori lamb cutlets the most. Read great reviews on this restaurant, so decided to make a visit. Server suggested Naasi Goreng for us and we love this dish. So, ordered them and it was definitely not Naasi Goreng, it felt like a mediocre chicken fried rice. My wife ordered a vegetarian Singapore street noodle and it was okay. Very disappointed. Great food and atmosphere. To secure a spot, it is advisable to make a reservation, as it gets busy. The menu catered to every one of us. It's worth a visit if you want a quick, tasty meal. The atmosphere was lively and it was such a a great place to have a catch up with friends and family. Great Décor, welcomed by a lovely member of staff who was very attentive to our table. we had ordered a platter appetizer and mains each for 4 people with drinks and i can 100% say i walked out very very full. The food was delicious and tasty and so was the drinks. My favorite would actually have to be the nasi Goering as i love the spice and the egg plant. The pricing would be medium to expensive but its what you expect to pay for in a nice place in the city. Had a lovely meal here. Absolute fantastic service. We had Alanah who went above and beyond to make our night enjoyable. The food was exceptional, I cannot fault our dining experience. All at a great price. We will definitely be dining here again.
