Not dogs allowed, we couldn’t eat outside (but that was acceptable because of the weather). We got our main dish first (before the soups) and then they took them away, served the soups and brought back the main dishes cold. The food tasted really good, but the service wasn’t professional. It's simply great. Super location, othantic atmosphere and fast sevice. The foods are delicious and portions are BIG.. it's really worth to visit and eat here.I had mutton with dumplings and it was amazingly so soft and delicious. Quite average restaurant, I remember I used to come to this restaurant very often and other meals were much better than what we had today. Maybe we chose basic meals or we are biased by traditional meals as we are used to “grandma style”, but the meals were not the best. They don’t have fresh tea neither, so I assume it’s the intention to be average/lower average. All, however, was relative to prices, we paid 20 euros for 2 meals and drinks. If you want literally average meal, the restaurant is your choice. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch

Great food for good prices, friendly staff. If you want to eat really really tasty traditional Slovak cuisine in our in the vicinity of Zvolen, I highly recommend this place. The restaurant has very good location nearby highway but it is also not far away from the city. Coming for Zvolen you have to drive there, it is not in the walking distance. It's opening hours are also giving a hint that they prefer customers who want to eat lunch rather than dinner but on request they can stay longer especial if you have some kind of celebration for bigger group of people Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

Slovakian traditional country chalet restaurant, with long tradition. I was visiting this restaurant from my teenage and they have always nice customer service and have great kitchen with typical Slovakian dishes. Restaurant has also outside places to sit, and outside smoking tables. Very well organised during a corona. I must highlight restaurant staff- always polite, friendly and professional, also very fast and don't let customers without notice and care.Take away food is also available.From parking space it's quite nice view to Zvolen city. Definitely recommend to visit 👌

Huge portions for reasonable price. Sustainability has not reached this restaurant yet. Even when we took children portions it was impossible to finish... Staff is okish but do expect smiley faces. Sometimes it feels like you are bothering them. Paying with card is possible

The food was ok, there are certainly better ones in Slovakia but if it’s on your way, it’s worth the visit
