Shiwas with rice was amazing and lamb chops are very good. Price was very very reasonable. Maybe staff is very busy, so you don’t get enough attention. But all this compensate by the delicious test. Very tasty dinner , all food fresh made and nicely served. Portions very generous. All staff speaks English and was very friendly. I personally love chicken tikka and lemon mint drink. They have wifi and take cards/ Apple Pay. We have eaten inside as we prefer air conditioning but they have roof top as well.

The best Omani meal we had during the 5 days trip in Oman. The avocado juice here is just excellent that you should not miss. Argula salad, lamb meat, vegetables curry and Orsia (grinder rice - chicken -Omani ghee) are unexpectedly delicious. Moreover, the waiters are friendly and customer oriented with good suggestions of food. We waited long time for getting served - guest who came after us got served and ate and we looked. Food - salad mix plate was not fresh, main dishes good and plenty- 1 plate good for 2 person. The food we had and the service received was very good. I’ve been told it’s a new administration that owns the place and it got way better. I can’t complain. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Food was not more than average. Ambience inside on first floor feels like a cantine and shows no design feel at all. Service is really bad: they told us that rooftop is fully reserved but no guest showed up for these tables. The waiters have no manners, do not greet and smash the menu on the table. They forgot one of our dishes and did not apologise. English is hardly spoken. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Enjoy Al Aqur Traditional Restaurant when you are in Nizwa even if you are not staying at Nizwa Heritage Inn. Location is superb as it's next to the souq and few minutes by walk to the fort. The service is impeccable and prompt, food is authentic and tasty. Huge portion so be careful when ordering.☺️ the place have been enhanced from the last time I came for a visit. Highly recommended!
