I had lunch there today. The food was excellent and the service was wonderful. The manager was working the floor and helping the customers just like the people working for him. My friends and I spoke with him and complimented his work ethic. Not long after, we received a free slice of wonderful red velvet cake at our table. I will definitely be back there soon! The food was amazing! Absolutely Top Notch! I ordered the Newk's Q pizza, and my wife had a Caesar salad tonight. But, the man on salad was eating some noodles beside his line that he was making salads on. Some tall man told him to take to the back, and well, Salad guy didn't take it too kindly. But what made me feel the need to review, was after our order, a burly black man came in and ordered a salad, noticed that the salad guy wasn't using gloves and tried to civilly correct him, and the salad guy gave him BIG attitude. It took, (presumably) manager on duty to mitigate the issue. Anyways, 10/10 on food, 10/10 on atmosphere, and service up front. Just some severe contamination issues tonight on salad. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

It's easy to spend a lot of money if you want a meal and a fountain drink or tea, but it is good, so we make it a special treat destination. Today I had the pick 2 combo of the pesto chicken sandwich and a Greek salad. Delicious! My kiddo had the sausage and pepperoni pizza (adult-sized because the kids size is tiny) and she liked it ok. She said next time she will get plain cheese because the sausage has lots of fennel seeds. The staff is friendly at the register, and even with Covid precautions, you can still ask for the extras that used to be out for the public (ex: croutons, jalapeños, sweet pickles, garlic). The tea is wonderful! *The prices have increased on some menu items and the menu has changed a little recently. Today I had the soup and salad combo (tomato soup and caesar salad) and my daughter had the pepperoni pizza. We were both pleased and full. They have discontinued carrying the bread and butter pickles and we didn't see the garlic, either, so we were sad of that. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

Generally I’m fond of newks. They can be a bit hit or miss on portion size with take out (which we usually get) but quality is not normally an issue. My husband picked up 2 black and blue salads tonight and about 1/4 of my lettuce was rotting, disgusting and mushy. This should not happen. Whatever employee is making these should notice there is an issue and get new produce. VERY disappointed. Will have to check before leaving next time.

disgusting. the food is good, but watching them prepare the food is horrendous. I’m currently sitting here watching them make my meal, and the girl playing the food is scratching her hair, touching her phone, and then continues to touch all the plates with her bare hands. and the server’s hoodie strings are ALL OVER THE FOOD!!!!! never again will i eat here!!!
