Overall, my experiences here have been wonderful when dining in. The service is usually 5 star. The most recent experience was a to go order which we made online for pick up. Now the order was "ready" ahead of time but was missing a salad and the chili for it. The restaurant was not that busy but other to-go people had issues in front of me so it took over 10 minutes to get someone to address my needs. When they looked at my order, they did immediately go to the kitchen and fix it and apologized. So that is the only reason for the 4 stars on service. The only reason I ordered through the online service was so I could easily walk in, grab my order off of the shelf since it was already paid for, and be able to get out quickly... but next time I may just wait when I have more time to dine in. On another positive note. Their food is extremely fresh and presented well. And the restaurant was very clean. The staff was also very pleasant even under "stress" from the other people having issues with their orders. Newk's is a go-to for me, especially for their delicious soup and salad, as well as tasty pizzas. However, I had a less-than-ideal experience with one of their desserts, so I've refrained from ordering them since. During my last visit, I also noticed the absence of packs of breadsticks. Some of the best food we've tasted in a long time! We were just passing through (we're from Florida) and I'm so happy to find out that we have a Newk's within 30 minutes of where we live! I love Newks, but this site is very difficult to get into and out of. This location also does not have the condiment table. You have to ask for the crushed peppers and bread sticks from an employee, then that bring you a small sample from the back. Semi panera bread vibes. But loved the food! It was fresh and fast! Only down sides were the lack of drink selection, for a fresh place, I expected more fresh drinks, there were basically nothing but soft drinks. And if you order a salad...get the dressing on the side because it's way too much! I tried the Pepperoni pizza with Cauliflower crust. Not bad at all! I do miss the tomato slices that used to come with this pizza. Great place to eat! Plenty of seating inside for indoor dining. Fresh food / ingredients. Short wait. Lots of menu options/choices. Clean restrooms. Love their sandwiches, salads, pizzas, dessert, tea. They do not have the usual breadstick/pickle table but you can ask for that and they’ll give you some. Updated after next visit: (9/17/21) Just as awesome! Excellent quality! Incredibly quick and friendly service!!!

Excellent food and located right off I-10 and hwy 49. Large selection of gourmet sandwiches and salads. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Clean place with lots of seating. Vegetarian options available. My only complaint is the price of food. Expect to pay between $8-14 per person. Not enough low calorie options available.
