By the best coffee I've had here yet and they have a good amount of food options for everyone including plant-based. The Cafe is super clean and everything was fresh, there's seating downstairs but also an enclosed area on the upper level. Southwell is probably also the only place to open at 6am so if you're a morning person like me you don't have to wait for your morning liquid gold!! MUST TRY!!
Amazing spot in Sayulita! I had an incredible coffee and smoothie which was clearly made with love and decorated so intentionally. The staff are so kind and really care. Also, if you need to get some work done, there is an enclosed area upstairs with great wifi!

Ohh my gosh - where do I start?! The food and customer service is phenomenal! We had the pleasure of chatting with the lovely couple who owns this restaurant, Clarissa and Emmanuel, and learning all about the nutritious and nourishing food they serve. They try and use as many locally sourced and organic products as possible. What a fantastic vegan and vegetarian restaurant!
We had their specialty cinnamon coffee, a green juice, banana oat pancakes, and vegan chorizo breakfast burrito. Everything was divine. The pancakes were absolutely delish and so was the burrito. The salsa that is served on the side is a family recipe, so spicy and delicious. They actually sell the salsa too. It was so wonderful to have a healthy, filling and reasonably priced breakfast.
They don't accept credit cards, but were kind enough to accept our USD. We did not try their baked goods, but everything is made with natural sweeteners and is gluten free. We can't wait to return while we're in Sayulita! Clarissa and Emmanuel, thank you for making food that nourishes your soul and your body!
PS- they also rent surf boards for way less than the rental shops and offer lessons. Support this amazing place!

This place is wonderful! Lovely service, fresh and delicious savory and sweet flavors. We keep coming back. It’s not in the crowds and pleasant sitting next to the sidewalk or the tables upstairs. Very nice vibe and friendly sweet people.

My absolute favorite breakfast/brunch/smoothie/treat/coffee spot in Sayulita. Their vegan smoothies are filling and delicious, i wish I could take them home with me! I miss them whenever I leave. Always new yummy sweet treats to try, the cupcakes are one of my all time favorites. You genuinely cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. I think my boyfriend ate the pancakes everyday (sometimes multiple times a day) for a week, with of course a delicious coffee to wash it down.

So, so, SO happy to have stumbled upon this gem of a spot while out wandering around Sayulita. I’ve had a week of pretty standard greasy food in Vallarta and was looking for some healthier, fresher options in Sayulita upon arrival. The owners are wonderful (a family business from Mexico and Belgium) and the food and drinks were EXACTLY what I was looking for. The chorizo burrito (veg/soy) with a side of salsa árbol made my lunch. Will be stopping here for breakfast or lunch most days while I’m in town.

Amazing place with amazing service, food and vibe. Everything that I had there was delicious and the prices are very reasonable (which is a big plus in Satulita!). Fresh ingredients and a heathy option in comparison to typical Mexican food. For now they only have 3 tables but will be expanding soon & its worth a visit 100%!
