We went to O Lago for the New Year's Eve, for dinner. The place and staff were very welcoming. The food was also very good with a full menu for the event. Really an amazing experience, with great cooking, beverages, and local goodies well presented by the waiter called João. Located in the city center with an extraordinary park view, with the fantastic lake to fulfill the experience. We had grilled lamb and regional red wine recommended by the amazing staff on a very reasonable price for two people (€50 per couple all in). Definitely a place for a special occassion & to visit while in Covilhão region. #VisitBeiraInterior

Disappointing experience. Waiter service was very slapdash and non-attentive. No options for dietary needs. Vegan option was a few side dishes. Was not able to finish our starter before the main course arrived. Steak was nicely cooked. Fries are hand cut skinny. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €15–20
