You can’t beat the prices or the food of Ocean. This is some of the best Yakisoba I’ve ever had, and the gyudon is to die for. The restaurant is super cute and classically decorated, old beer posters and photos of past guests cover the walls. The seafod bowls were incredible, large tasty portions for incredibly reasonable prices. The owners are very friendly family proprietors with a knack for custom service. Even though the exterior looks worn out, the interior is well kept in 70s decor style, such a charming little restaurant! The sushi and sashimi are so fresh and delicious. The good quality of food and traditional ambience are very impressive! No doubt this is a hidden gem in town!

Great family owned restaurant. The owners are extremely nice and the food has a unique flavor. If sashimi is your choice of sushi then you want to try this place out. The variety in noodles is unique as well.

This place makes sushi how it always should be made. It's big, fresh and delicious. AND not too expensive. While I was in the marines I went here all the time and ate an ungodly amount of sushi without emptying my wallet. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food is delicious, priced well, and comes in hearty portions. The family that operates the establishment are attentive, friendly, and are rightfully pillars of the community. “Oceans” is must do if you are in Henoko and is the closest thing to home cooking you can get to in Okinawa. Great hole-in-the-wall place for real food. Very inexpensive and the food quality is average for the area. The reason it gets 4 stars in the people. The staff is very friendly and incredibly patient with non-Japanese speakers. Great place to get a bite for going out or your last evening meal before Monday. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

I have not been back since 1995 on my last tour in Okinawa, but the ONLY good thing about being stationed at Schwab was being in walking distance to Ocean. I went many, many times! Life was so much better before the internet.... Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My first time ever eating sushi back in 2004. I absolutely loved this place. I want to go back to Okinawa one day and hit this place up again!
