Friendly staff! Wide open space yet intimate dining groups. Happy hour is a good value. Limited menu but enough to satisfy this taste craving. I ordered the shrimp ceviche. It was fresh, tangy and delicious. Lots of street parking right outside the door. Pet friendly seating in a gated area in front of the restaurant. The quality of the food here is fantastic! The sweet and spicy edamame was a delicious starter and paired well with the roasted pork Ramen bowl! The outdoor seating is great and this place is a must go every time we come to town! Excellent sushi restaurant with robust menu. We enjoyed appetizers, salads, nigiri sushi, and rolls as we ordered a diverse meal. Food and service on par with the best we've tried including in Japan. We dined at the Sushi bar which was set below the sushi chef's preparation area and was private and pleasant. We asked our server, Natalie, to serve us in courses that we'd choose consecutively. She was very observant and our requests were perfectly executed. All item were well prepared with generous portions. We hope to have a larger family gathering here as the menu had items that even those not interested in sushi and sashimi would likely find pleasing. We'll certainly dine here again.

Great sushi, ramen and drinks in FOUNTAIN HILLS? YES!!! This busy restaurant, on the corner of Avenue of the Fountains and N Verde River, exceeded ALL of my expectations (mind you, they were pretty low, but wow, was I surprised!). The place was poppin' but the patio had lots of heaters and we were willing to sit outside, so the wait wasn't long. While we waited, we were quickly served at the very well stocked bar, and, once seated, were greeted by a cheerful and informative server. The menu was solid, and included a lot of options so anyone (whether they like Sushi or not) could find something delicious to eat. It was a cold night, so all of us opted for Ramen, along with a few cold rolls and some edamame to start. The Ramen was hot (temperature and spice (by choice)) and the sushi rolls were on point. I never give 5 stars across the board but WOW. Oka Sushi was fantastic! The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Our waitress helped me pick out a dish I would like and suggested some sushi rolls for me (as someone who doesn't enjoy sushi it was nice to have the help!). The roll I got was fantastic and the tonkatsu was absolutely worth it! If you're in the area, this is a must visit. Get the tonkatsu and dragon roll. You will not be disappointed. The atmosphere here is also fantastic. It is a layed back vibe and perfect fit for the restaurant. Absolutely worth a visit!!!
