Ordered lunch to go, and it was awesome! They even put the sauce on the side for the chimichanga so it wouldn't get soggy. Alberto did a great job attending to us, checking to see how we were & if we needed anything often. The food was surprisingly good. Not a big menu, but some pretty good choices. The Chicken Tinga was juicy and delicious. LOVED the sopapillas!! Unfortunately, they ran out of Dr. Pepper! Lots of choices for mixed drinks. They sat us in the bar area. The bartender had several tables and had to make drinks. This really hurt him in taking care of the tables. The guac live and queso took over 20 minutes! Everything tasted good once we got it. Have not enjoyed the last couple of visits here. Servers seem to be stretched thin. Seated after someone in the kitchen yelled that we had come in, but it was ten minutes (yes I timed it) before a young man came over for a drink order. He hastily served us our drinks but had so many on his tray that he spilled ours. He came back and cleaned it up, but didn't take our orders. It was several minutes before the lady that had been behind the bar came out and got our order. A food runner brought us our food but the order was incomplete. Took forever to get drink refills. Just overall very negligent and disorganized. This has been the norm lately and we decided we just won't go back. Until we moved here this was one of our favorite restaurants. Our waiter was amazing! We felt bad for him because they seem obviously understaffed. He was host/waiter/busboy but he still managed to take out order in a timely manner, we got our food quickly and everything was perfect! He needs a raise! This Mexican-American place is one of my favorite restaurants. Now they have a new reward programs that discount $2 dollars from every queso purchase per day. Drinks are really good but the best is the free chips and salsa. Fajitas are great and the portions are plentiful. Stopped in for Happy Hour Food and Drinks! Gabriel was our bartender and was awesome!! The Strawbbritta on the Rocks was great! The queso sampler, chicken tacos, and beef nachos were all very tasty!
