This is the restaurant mentioned in the TripAdvisor; do not mix it with the other "Sunset view" restaurants - smaller ones - on the way there. You recognize the restaurant by green tables, it is bigger than other restaurants and has a sign "Original". We are twice by mistake in another restaurant before we found out which one is "the one". The food is good, delicious seafood and fish, and you get fried banana as a free desert. However, portions could be bigger. They seemed to understand English, however they misplaced our first order. Naturally they fixed it, we only had to wait a little bit longer. They also have wide range of delicious cocktails.

A shop that should not be encouraged Worst of all that shop. We order Meal very very long time within 2hours for any menu and waiter all is lady they are service very bad. Food taste not too good and expensive. I pre order meal before to shop one and half hour, I just arrived the shop I waiting next one hours not get my order. Customer is not too much and not have many orders for take away I mean is not too much Meal order but they are make on purpose annoy any customer. All of waiter they don’t care any customer and they customer service is very very very worst. I order bottle for Johnnie walker at there not get to really, So we bring own bottle they are charge 3,000 mmk and ice very expensive. Can’t use credit card. But you wanna to use they additional charge 3% I not recommend this restaurant.

Popped in for a drink during a beach walk. Friendly, fast service. Tasty line juice and a thick, sweet mango smoothly. Good location and views.

Does what it says in the tin. Yummy fresh fish and food. Well cooked. Veggys not over cooked either. Lovely staff. Lovely setting. Win win.

Great view (if you get first row), grilled fish was very nice, tomato salad good. They did forget our dessert, but when reminded acted swiftly. Price fair (whole fish = 10k). Very recommendable

Well I have no stress on vacation but if I have to wait 1.5 hours for my dinner I get really annoyed. Especially when people next to you arrived about 20 minutes later and get their food 20 minutes earlier than me! We were not the only guests who complaint about the very long waiting time. We ordered just 1 starter, a soup and a curry with rice, nothing special. Food was average, prices are reasonable. However, the pineapple juice was tasty. I would not visit this restaurant again.

We have visited several restaurants in Ngalali and the sunset view is the most positive aspect for this one. Food was average, you can get much tastier seafood dishes in other beach restaurants or those next to the main road. The staff is running around the place chaotically and shouting at each other through the whole restaurant. Did not help with the sunset ambience. Finally, it took 3 tries for the waitress to bring us the right receipt with the correct amount. If ever in Ngapali again, we would come for the drinks only and get the seats closest to the sea.
