Typical outback. Good food. We sat at the bar and the bartender and service was great. The manager came around to check on us. We haven’t even ate yet. But it is our 6 year anniversary & it’s Valentine’s Day! I know they have been extremely busy & overwhelmed but as soon as I came in they were so kind ( I was on the wait list for tmr 2/15) and they got us on for tonight like I was still on the wait list. Absolutely wonderful. I spoke with a nice man at the door and the a women and another man at the stand up front. Great folks here! 2/14/24 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Merry S. At the outback in Cookeville was amazing! The sweetest waitress we have ever had and she was on top of everything! The cook was wonderful as well our steaks were so good and cooked perfectly. Highly recommend! Come in and ask for Merry S.!! OK so I went back. I went back to give outback a second chance, and I am so glad that I did. I met a waiter named Tristan who was an exceptional waiter. Not only that but the food that I ordered was perfect. All we did was appetizers. The wedge salad, cheese, fries, and some potato soup. We had the strawberry lemonade with it but everything was perfect. Thank you for the great experience, Tristan, I believe you are the one that made it all. Rock hard butter cake & smaller portions We’ve been coming to outback ever since they opened. This last visits was very disappointing, their bread was much smaller. Blooming onions Also smaller. Our stakes were pretty good but on salty side. My grill shrimps super small. We ordered desserts. Chocolate thunder was delicious but much smaller, my butter cake which was my first time ordering was rock hard. And waitress told me that is how they serve it “ cold”. I told her I never had rock hard butter cake and return it and told her I wasn’t going to pay for it. Our bill with two stake dinner and blooming onion was $80. Not even counting tips. They are so expensive and portions got so much smaller and service was even that great. We went in the afternoon, took two hours to finish our meals. It will be a long time before I come back. TExas road house and longhorn are much better places all the way around. Wish I took video of the butter cake when you hit on it.
