Ambiance? Who needs it? This place has "old school" charm. Like a "Howard Johnson's" from the '60s. Cups with saucers! A full thermos pot of coffee! Ice cream scoop size of soft, delicious butter for our pancakes; not cold, refrigerated little pats like most places. The food is great, the service spectacular. Our server, Barbie, was friendly and efficient. The bb hole in the window was the only thing that was a little distracting. Prices are very good. Three peach pancakes $6. Eggs, corned beef hash, home fries and toast only $5,75! Loved this place! Well the menu looked nice but took a while to get food The silverware weren’t properly cleaned. The omelet didn’t look like a omelet/ didn’t look done You can see the kitchen leaving looked a mess Hard to enjoy food when you have a bunch of flies around☹️ This wasn’t worth a 40$ meal sorry Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Will NEVER go back. We have been coming at least once a month for almost two years. We even bring our family from out of town anytime they come. We went today and as we finished eating my aunt saw a bug SWIMMING in her coffee. We told the waitress who said “oh, it’s just a gnat.” Took the cup, put it to the side, and asked if we wanted another one. We told her no. We noticed there were the same bugs on the napkins so we got up and went to pay. My aunt is telling the lady at the register and she shrugged her shoulders and looked unbothered. I explained how we wished someone had some feeling toward what we are telling them and she stated “well I’m not the manager so I am not sure what you want me to say.” We asked for a manager and we heard her say “do they want me to take something off the meal?” So she walked over, we explain how upset we are with the service after we told them about the bugs on our table and in our coffee. Her response was “I didn’t know what happened but I can tell the owner to do something about them. Do you want something taken off your bill?” We just wanted someone to acknowledge what was happening instead of acting like bugs on our table and in our coffee was no big deal. Where do I get started.. I went here today with my family and it was filthy. Mold on the ceiling tiles, building falling apart, nets and flies everywhere, and poorly cleaned. The food is good but I’m sick on the toilet right now. Just get something else.. Food: 4 Service: 5

Well, it’s been many years since I’ve been to this location and today being back home, I wanted to eat here. My how the years have changed this place. Maybe it’s under a different ownership, but this was absolutely terrible. I ordered scrambled eggs, extra crispy bacon, a bowl of grits and pancakes. I also order a Chef Salad to go. The waitress was friendly, the food comes out quick. But other than that, ugh. The grits were watered down and flavorless, adding butter should help, but butter tasted spoiled. Pancakes were flavorless and undercooked, were like soft chewy rounds of fried flour. The Chef Salad, glad I checked, was in a big to go container, but when I opened it, the lettuce looked wilted, there was a few diced tomatoes, some kind of ground up meat and cheese. The portion was a joke. After refusing to pay for it, they offered to charge me for a side salad, however, no apologies offered. They should be ashamed of offering something like that. It’s just sad, I remember this place was a go to spot when I was younger, but now, it will never be a spot I will go to again. The food was actually pretty decent. The hashbrowns were rubbery though. The building is very very old, in a rough spot in town, with a decrepit motel in the back. The host Heather was pretty nice though. Probably will be back lol Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
