The atmosphere is nice but the service and food left a lot to be desired. And...we were the only people in the restaurant on a Friday night.
First they never offered to seat us but did tell us they were open. We chose our seats and they brought menus. We had to summon someone since no one asked what drinks we wanted after waiting a while. Once I ordered, what I requested was "habis" so the waiter suggested I try the salmon so I did. It was not fresh fish...it was rectangular and cooked too much. My husband had a salad and it was soaked in his requested balsamic dressing.
The staff were friendly and the food came out at the same time...which was nice because that is unusual in Indonesia.
The dessert I wanted..blueberry cheesecake..."was not cut" and only available as a whole cake!
It was very expensive for the quality of food. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
We ordered cappuccino, banana fritter, nachos and a pot of tea. The cappuccino was served on a dirty cup! The server severely needs more training, after assuming that we don't know what "banana fritters mean, and completely not knowing that nachos are on the menu. The banana fritters should include a scoop of ice cream, something they forgot and tried to pass it off as if it isnt a problem.
There are some good parts. The nachos were nice with a well cooked tortilla. However it is a shame that the nachos was the only high point of our evening. For such a well priced restaurant, you should have matching service standards, of which the standards was not met.
And fyi, we do know that "banana" is "pisang". Lets get that one bloody fact straight.
