Great place, awesome owner and amazing food. It's very difficult to get something to taste real Italian in Nicaragua, but Paolo definitely succeeded hands down...totally recommend it anytime! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I absolutely loved it here. I went there with my brother in law and got to know the Owner, what a fun and welcoming person. All food is self produced, and tastes even more italian than lots of places i went to in italy 😅 Friendly staff, amazing original italian food and a relaxed vibe. Highly recommended!

What a great place, a very pleasant surprise! We made it over for Valentines day and loved it. Place is a relaxed, open air atmosphere, but the food is carefully crafted, prepared with love and presented very elegantly. We tried the fried seafood platter which had the perfect combination of crunch and a bit fluffy from the light batter, it was perfect. The Rosemary butter ravioli was home made and filled with Ricotta they make them selves, it was delicious. The Gnocchi in Cheese sauce is very tasty and cheesy (in the good way) yet not terribly filling. Octopus Carpaccio was very fresh and super tasteful. Last but not least, the tiramisu was one of the best we ever had. The service was also spot on, always very attentive and were very nice. The chef takes great pride for all his creation, he deserves the praise.
Paolone has great food and a comfortable atmosphere. Note there are no gluten free pasta options on the menu, however the Pesto is vegan with Parmigiano being on the side. They also have a great roasted veggie platter as a starter for veg heads.

FRESH EVERYTHING!!!! When you find a place where it's obvious the chef has a passion for what he does, you take the time to write a five star review and help spread the word. My go to: Cheese Platter (Have to ask),Lasagna and Tiramisu
My favorite Italian restaurant in Popoyo. All the entries are amazing, fresh, homemade. Paolones makes his own mozzarella!!! And the basil is from his garden.
hands down some of the best pasta i’ve ever had. Chef is truly a master of his craft, and a great person to share rum and conversation with

Like going to eat a little restaurant in the Italian countryside, only in Nicaragua. Handmade with love and care and excellent attention from the staff and chef ♥️
