After a long walk around Watkins Museum of History, go to this bar and have a rest here. Italian food is worth a try here. Being at Papa Keno's, eat good pies, Pepperoni and breadsticks. Phenomenal experience! (Went last weekend) Pizza was amazing and service was so good. Very fast and friendly. Sat on the upper level and it was a perfect place to watch everyone enjoying the day. Stopped in on a whiff and a whim. Great selection and loved ordering at the counter and having it delivered to our table. Just got a few slices (as advertised, bigger than my head) and the cheese bread thingys with roasted garlic, but saw a ginormous pizza be delivered to the table beside us. After a busy day at KU, we called in a delivery order to Papa Keno’s. Food was delivered in a timely manner and order was correct. Great salad options along with individual pizza slice options for families. Note - a slice is good sized. Recommend! This is one of the best pizza joints I've ever been to. We specifically drove into Lawrence for this pizza while driving through Kansas. The staff was polite, the food was hot and fresh. The big slice is huge and perfectly filling. Any time I'm near Lawrence you can be sure I'm stopping in! The crust is thin but not soggy and floppy. Stop in, it's great!
