The park is about 1 hour from Dakar. The safari cost 12000 XOF entry fee per person, 6500 XOF for a guide and 40000 XOF for the car to drive around inside the park. This car can have either 8 or 11 seats. So, if you are on a budget, I recommend waiting for another group of people to arrive and possibly join you for the tour such that you pay for the car altogether. Another option is to come with your own car. In that case, you will only pay for the entry fee and the guide. It’s better to just rent a safari car 🚙 from home to the safari. This way, you don’t have to pay for a taxi and for the safari. We were lucky to join two Belgian women and we shared the costs. The tour guide was excellent. He explained things so fluently. Unfortunately we didn’t see many animals as we expected. There were mostly giraffes, gazelles and ostriches. We weren’t allowed to take pictures with the giraffes even though some instagramers have. The restaurant is decent. My samosa wasn’t great for 4500 XOF. My friend had baobab and bissap juice. She did not like them. However, the drinks prices are normal.

Due special prices for tourist this park is over priced. The gamewardens know were the animals are as they are being des and therefore stationair. Nature is very nice and you can drive also your self. Cant how long allowed. We paid for 3 adults 2 kids guard and game truck 95000 for 2 hours...back in 1.45....that is 160 dollar.....if you are used to game parks other African countries,this is not value for money.

Nous voulions visiter un parc naturel pour pouvoir découvrir des animaux sauvages. Nous avons pris nos billets avec un guide et avons commencé la visite. Il faisait très chaud et malgré cela nous avons vu des girafes, des singes, des zèbres, des zébu, des antilopes. La plupart des animaux viennent d'Afrique du Sud. Les crocodiles sont spectaculaires. Le parc est assez grand et les sentiers sont bien praticables. C'était une belle visite.
