The whole alley is closed off and, if you're driving, is accessible only by a separate parking behind it, which leads to a small gate which opens into Park Street Mews.
It is basically a paved alleyway with storage containers on both sides which have been repainted and repurposed as restaurants.
Still, there are many colourful paintings and murals on the walls and the shops have outdoor seating so you can eat outside in the mornings and evenings.
We dined at Chambers, which is a Middle-Eastern/Arab restaurant. The prices are about what you would expect from Colombo 7 (pretty expensive) and the food doesn't really taste authentic. It is decent, but nowhere close to what you would expect. In fact the falafel tasted more like a seekh kebab than actual falafel.
If you are looking for a cheaper option, Monsoon also looks good (haven't eaten there yet) but they serve Chinese cuisine.

We are just chilling... coffee was a great and good location. Nice place for coffee since we ordered only that. We enjoyed food as well as ambience. I would say this very cosy place

It feels so nice there. Absolutely a beautiful location and has a cool & lovely vibe. People have their meals onnthe street sitting oitside and people-watching as they eat. There is also a chain of food outlets and all of them are really popular. This place is Worthy of your attention. It has a lovely cozy atmosphere tucked away in a quiet street.
