It was a pleasure from start to finish. What a gem hidden away in the countryside. Everything was perfect, and the atmosphere couldn't have been more uplifting on a cold, stormy day. We had one problem... there were so many choices from their waffle menu!! It was a wonderful problem!!! It is definitely worth a trip!! They have made the Down East magazine publication 3 times already!! We will be back for sure... This place is awesome! The food was quick and delicious. We ordered 3 different plates and everyone loved what they had. We ordered The Greek Potato waffle, The Red Flannel Waffle, and the OG French Toast Waffle. There was lots to choose from. They have a kids menu as well. The decor is great as well. The man who was tending to the tables was fantastic. His name is Eddie. A great guy, great personality, and very personable. We highly recommend making the drive to get here. Nice little place out in the middle of nowhere. The food was pretty good…portion sizes/prices felt a bit off. I found it odd that the fake maple syrup was free but real maple syrup $2 for a personal shot or $5 for a small shareable glass. AMAZING! We had such a great time today at PL&W. The food was 12/10 wonderful and tasty. I especially enjoyed the cornmeal waffles that come with the Chicken&Waffles and the Chicken Pot Pie Waffles; who knew it would be so tasty! The owner and his family were incredibly nice and accommodating; they served us even though we showed up 30min before closing, so we appreciated that a lot. The atmosphere of the place is also excellent; it really felt like a cozy cabin home. Stop by for breakfast or bunch if you get the chance, I bet you'll enjoy it as much as we did!
