The key aspect of this restaurant is the Chinese cuisine. Pearl Express offers you to try good sweet & sour pork, orange chicken and egg drop soup. Tasty biscuits are the tastiest dishes. It might be cool to try great americano. This place is good for visitors who have dinner on the go as they can order food as a takeout. Most guests indicate that the staff is appealing. The fine service is a big plus of this spot. Prices here are reported to be adequate. It's a pleasant place with the peaceful atmosphere. Google users like this restaurant: it was granted 4.3 stars.

Great Chinese food. I ordered the orange chicken dinner that came with ham fried rice and an egg roll. Our meals came quickly and you could tell they were freshly made for us. One star removed because I ran out of water and was never brought more to finish my meal. Also because it took a while to get our check. Review of online ordering experience. Placed order online around 2pm for 6pm pickup. Order confirmed via email. Arrived at 6pm and order was not ready. I was told I could go on “the list”. I asked what the list was, and was told “the list of people waiting for food”. There were already 6-7 names on the list. I asked about how long it would be, and was told about an hour because “they can’t handle this much business”. I was encouraged to cancel the order entirely, which I did. Went to another nearby Chinese restaurant who took and completed my order in 20 minutes. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

The general tso and sesame chicken were crispy and very good too. The rice was good as well. Spring roll was great! $28 for two makes it a good deal too.
Drove by this place the other night and decided to get something quick to try. I went with the beef fried rice. The inside of the restaurant smelled amazing and it looks like it's family owned so you know the food is quality. I got it to go as indoor dining is still closed. The beef fried rice tasted amazing and there was plenty to share! Yumm! Can't wait to try other items on the menu soon. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $1–10
Pearl Express was a pleasant experience. The staff, though small, was friendly and attentive. The restaurant is located in a small business strip plaza which has just a few other businesses and is on the corner of 6200 South at Bangerter Highway. The parking lot, which is not large, is best entered if you are East of Bangerter headed West. The restaurant is on the North side of 6200 South. The restaurant is narrow with seating down the sides and a long table down the center. It was not busy when we first arrived around 1730; but, more people showed up as time went on. There seemed to be as much or more business produced by carry-out as there was dining in. As I said previously the staffing was minimal but they did very well at their juggling act between taking phone orders, welcoming people as they came in to be seated, taking orders in the restaurant, ringing up pick up orders and dine in orders, bringing out food to the tables, topping off water glasses and all the other things associated with operating a restaurant. It seemed as though it may be a Family Business. They were all very nice and very busy. The food was hot, fresh off the stove, and very tasty. We tried the Walnut Shrimp, Pineapple Chicken, Peking Pork Chops, Egg Rolls and Cream Cheese Wontons. Everything was prepared very nicely. The pork and Chicken were excellent in their prep. Unlike many places that kill the flavor of the meat with over breading, Pearl Express fixed the dishes fresh without breading the meat. The Shrimp were battered just right for a crisp, flakey coating which went excellently with the sauce. Although the pineapple chicken was very good I think when I go again it would be the dish I would change out to try another dish. There are many to choose from. The Egg Roll was very good although in size it reminded me more of a Spring Roll. The Egg Rolls are served with a nice mild sauce that was almost like a sweet/hot mustard. The Cream Cheese Wontons were wonderful. Crisp, Fresh and Flakey served with a side bowl for dipping of Sweet and Sour Sauce. I would definitely recommend Pearl Express for small groups or small families. It is about average in cost for dishes served A la carte compared to other Chinese food restaurants. There are less expensive selections if you prefer a predetermined dinner selection with a choice of entrees. With the friendliness of the staff, tastiness of the food and the fast prep and serving of the food I don't think you could go wrong in giving them a try.
The staff was really nice, and the food was easily some of the best Chinese we have had so far since moving to SLC. We have been looking for a Chinese place for our to to and I think this might be it. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
