This is a really nice "hole on the wall" place. Just large enough to have a small lunch buffet but I use it for carryout/take away. They have a solid menu and do a great job with the recipes. They're also willing to make adjustments (I like my food spicy) which is useful when people have dietary restrictions (other people don't like their food to hurt I guess). If you're looking for some reliable Chinese American food to bring home for movie night this is your place.

This restaurant does not take allergens seriously. My mother in law ordered fried rice lo mein and pupu platter which i ate, and it contained trace amounts of peanuts that caused me to have an allergic reaction. It was a good thing i was at home because it could have been very serious. IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESTAURANT I REPEAT STAY AWAY Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I never have anything to complain about when I get food from here! Service is great, plus the lovely woman at the front is such a kind gentle person!! And of course the food is so yummy!! Dine in or take out I have always had great experiences and the prices are very reasonable!! Highly recommend this place!!!! Thank you to the hard working people here!!!! Ordered delivery. Food was cold, waaaay overcooked, greasy, and just plain unappetizing. For $100+ definitely NOT WORTH IT! Batter Fried Shrimp was mostly batter. About 1/8 inch of batter which was doughy and undercooked. Crab Rangoon had plenty of Cream Cheese. Guess the crab wasn't invited to the party. Chicken wings are greasy beyond description. Chicken Fingers same as Shrimp. Overall, an incredibly horrible meal. Will not be ordering from here again. Plus, Door Dash does ~$8.00+ mark up on menu items! What a shame. Been slowly getting worse for years. Last time we got food it was bad. Either from being old or something as it had a bad chemical smell in it. Won’t go back. Eat here at your own risk Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Ordered hot and sour soup & general Tsao/crab Rangoon combo with fried rice. What's good? The soup is filled with ingredients except the wood ear fungus is barely there mostly slices of cap mushroom. Not enough vinegar for my taste. The crab Rangoon? Except of the thick warm cream cheese nothing else barely tasted the imitation crab in it. The fried rice, OMG, do they have to put so much soy sauce (unless they use the dark soy) to show they cooked plain steam rice again? But it isn't in any very appealing at all. Then the General Tsao chicken. I don't expect every piece to be juicy but none of it is. Tough and dry. And the sauce they mix is weird, it comes out very salty taste. Good thing I opted for this than more General Tsao chicken.

Tpyical chinese restaurant, but the authentic chinese lunch served 11 to 3pm is better in value and quality compared to other places. The seafood soup has more vegetables than seafood, but it is a better way to go about fillling it than half of the quart being just water.

Unbelievably a bad customer service. The entire time that we were dining, the young child of the owners was playing a loud game on his phone while running around between tables ( for more than twenty minutes). Both parents behind the counter were busy with their phones and do NOTHING. Don't get me wrong, I understand sometimes they have to take their child to work, but have some control and have some respect for your customers....Anyhow, we could not carry on any conversation because of the situation and had to ask for boxes to leave. It did not cross parents mind what might be the reason or maybe they did not care. Food quality was average too. Will not go back or recommend Perking Garden in Hudson... This restaurant is absolutely terrible! Stay away! I ordered two things from here, one of which was the small crab Rangoon. I was eating the last crab Rangoon when I noticed that I was chewing on a piece of plastic! I called the restaurant and spoke with the woman who served me and she requested that I bring back the crab Rangoon in order to get a refund. How would I have brought back the food when I did not discover the plastic until I ate the last one??? She offered me a discount on my next purchase; however, I am so horrified by this unpleasant experience that I will not be returning to ever order again from this restaurant. I politely declined her offer. I was so disgusted with what I encountered that I also threw away the entree I had bought, who is to say what else I would have found? The establishment was dirty, unkempt, and unorganized so I should have realized what I was getting myself into from the moment I placed my order. Lesson learned.
