Great place to stop for lunch. They make really great pizzas but have a large variety of other dishes from burgers to paninis, ribs and chicken dishes. There is also a great selection of beverages including craft beers and gin on tap. Friendly staff. Food arrived hot and within good time from ordering. Friendly owner. One of the best restaurants I’ve been to. We usually don’t go back to a place often but found ourselves here like five times. The salads are perfect and the chocolate cake is really good. What a great meal the Eisbein was magnificent and can highly recommend it🤩 the pizzas 🍕 were also great. Cold beer on tap really tops off an all round great experience. This low key eatery was quite surprising. We were expecting good pizzas and not much more but.... Lamb shank and ribs were fall off the bone awesome with great flavour. The pizzas by the way we're very good. Visited a number of times for meals. Great selection of well prepared food with attentive service. Indoor and outdoor seating. Interesting shops of local produce on same car park plus pen of Angora goats. Very enjoyable. We spend a good time. Tasted non alcoholic beers from SA. Vegetarian pizza and another one with fresh avocado. First time. Delicious. The team is nice. Some little shops with homemade things to buy. Goats free . Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person R 1–50

I can't see what the fuss is about, the venue is ok and food is average, the waiter/owner sells the product extremely well but the execution to the end product is rather disappointing. Overall not a bad experience, but would definitely not be returning.

This is by far one of the most special restaurants that I've ever visited! It looks humble upon first glance, but as you spend time there you realize how extraordinary it truly is. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful! They were always smiling and enthusiastic about being there. Then the food was absolutely exquisite! From the taste to the plating, everything was perfect. Extra care was added to presentation with flowers on the salad and placement of the food on the plate. The side salads were a treat on their own, with a perfect dressing pre added and a great variety of different leaves and veggies. All ingredients were fresh and the sauces and spices were memorable. The meals were also super filling as the chefs were very generous. The manager was walking around and checking in. They didn't have the pita for the veggie burger, but instead of insisting we order something else, they presented us with a delicious veggie wrap with the same ingredients. Do yourself a favor and visit the Peppermill :)

My husband and I went to the company next door for quad biking. After our quad biking we decided to stop here to check out the menu and perhaps buy something to drink as we were quite thirsty. Honestly , we didn’t feel very welcomed here by the staff or the other customers. Not sure if it’s because we’re Indian or what. We spoke to the lady at the till and wanted to order a coke as well and she just walked away- not following through with customers is so off putting. My husband fetched the coke himself and then she returned , we were waiting to pay and she kind of just ignored us and took payment from another white customer and then she casually asks if we wanna pay and so we told her we’ve been waiting. Just didn’t get very welcoming and friendly vibes from them and so we didn’t even bother sitting down and ordering food because we didn’t feel welcomed. It’s 2023. I thought we’re passed the “better than thou because of our skin” era. Shocked and disappointed. Also, a coke and two ice creams costed us R115. Crazy. Atmosphere: 1
