We had a wonderful and very sweet waitress, she mad sure we had everything we needed and not once did we have to ask for anything, her name was Tess and when we go back we will be asking for her station. As we have eaten there a lot and really haven’t had the best service, but we decided to try again and I’m glad we did. Thank you Tess for a wonderful and enjoyable meal. Be aware that current advertised specials are only available if you specifically ask for a separate menu of them upon being seated. A shame an establishment would use these somewhat deceptive practices when spending so much for advertising these same food options. Waitress brought the first course of meal, but it then took twelve minutes of trying to find and flag her down again to let her know we had no utensils to eat with. We will think twice before visiting Perkins again Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

The lunch trio with the ½ chicken finger sandwich, tomato basil soup and no sugar added wild berry pie is EXCELLENT! I always order the chicken finger sandwich without bacon and it's a "stick to your ribs" meal that fills you up and lasts a long time. You can't go wrong ordering this entree. Additionally, Cara is the perfect waitress and always has a positive demeanor about her. She really makes the visit an enjoyable one. It was great until we checked out, and my husband decided he wanted a piece of carrot cake. The girl was new at the register and was somewhat confused. Not having a problem with new employees, I went to go look for my server. I have fifty years in customer service, whether retail, cosmetology, 23 years in the United States Navy, accounting department, two county offices, as a prison wardon administrative assistant, service and warranty writer, and HR. This is throughout my life, and as my husband finished his 30 years of military service. We moved and I was employed at different venues. While asking for my rewards discount, which she didn't know how to do, and my server was doing it, the new employee popped off with Jesus Christ! I repeated it and she said yeah. I looked at my server and asked if it was acceptable? The new employee said I don't think she heard me. I said she is right next to you, I am across the counter, she heard me. Longer story short, the kitchen manager came out and said he would talk to her. I said I would follow-up with Tom, the manager, who is in a meeting. What should at least have happened? My name and phone number be taken to have Tom, the manager, follow-up with me. One Perkins has already closed in Billings. I will be following up with Tom, the manager myself.
