Fresh, tasty, generous portion on bowls but grape leafs are skinny. Also price online is always lower than what they charge in person. They should truly update the menu instead of claiming price changed. Really, how long ago... Great food, fresh, and filling. I got the veggie #2 plate, with the eggplant, cauliflower, rice, hummus, tobouli, salad, potato and hummus. The staff is nice and welcoming. Mark is a great host. Every time we come in to eat he has great energy and shows us a lot of hospitality. The food is also always very good. The food was good if meager portions. I ordered the Phoenicia platter thinking it’d be a nice sample of all the things they offer. At $23 it was indistinguishable from the advertised vegan plate that was $8 less. It included no meat at all which was disappointing. The desert baklava was really yummy. I’ll probably come back for one more try and attempt a different menu item. . Very long line for counter order at 12:45. Also, they ask for a tip which I find annoying at a counter serve restaurant getting takeout.

I came here for the first time a few weeks ago and was really happy with my food. I ordered takeout a few days ago and it was also pretty good, but not quite as good as the first time. Enjoyed a dinner with a friend before seeing Death on the Nile at the Look theater. My friend claimed this restaurant to be the foundation for his love of Mediterranean food that he experienced on his trips to Israel. Well done, Hedad and Phoenicia! 👏🏻 PROS: The owner, Hadad, greeted us warmly and took our order. He cartoon likeness holds a sign in the front welcoming visitors to his eatery. I love that kind of kitsch and confidence. I enjoyed the a very lemony yellow lentil soup that zinged my tastebuds with every bite. I ordered the Phoenicia Platter and all manner of meats arrived on one plate. The schwarma bits were crispy and tasty. The hummus came wonderfully creamy and tart. The cucumber salad complemented the meats well. The beef kabob was pretty tender, but the standout was definitely the chicken kabob. The tenderness, spices, and marinade with the charred ends brought an extremely satisfying experience. The dining experience became enriched by Hedad and his friends engaging in banter that only well acquainted friends could engage. CONS: Once I stepped into the restaurant, an immediate intoxicating smell of grilled meat wafted into my nose. However, as the dining experience continued, the lite smoke gave way to an stifling overwhelming smokiness that choked the senses. Lastly, the pita bread seems to be an after thought, and something I could purchase at any Stater Bros. Markets and not an authentic Mediterranean experience. I pray blessings of prosperity, health, and love for the owner, patrons, and everyone that visits. 🙏🏻 In faith, hope, and love, David ⚜💚⚜

The food is SO good! Really great customer service. My experience was overall very good. The pita was fresh, the hummus had the perfect texture and the gyro was delicious. Paired with a glass of wine I couldn’t ask for a better meal.
