Our visit to the playhouse was truly wonderful! The expansive open space provides a variety of play items suitable for all age groups. Organizing a birthday celebration was a breeze, thanks to the exclusive access to the entire space and the assistance of their accommodating staff. The family-owned charm added an extra layer of warmth, creating lasting memories for our family. I wholeheartedly recommend this place!

After my updated review, the owners contacted me by email and they were very kind and concerned. They offered me a free 1 time pass to this place and therefore I was hesitant, but decided to give it a try. Its still dusty, the surfaces are sticky, hairs are stuck to lots of the toys, but it's the staff's fault, not the owners. So, here I am, updating my review back to 5 stars. I just don't want to harm this nice family business. It's a great place for little kids to play, amazing idea and a great addition to the area. The staff is extremely friendly, but can't clean well for some reason.
UPD: We used to go there, but not anymore. The place is dirty, dusty and most of the surfaces are sticky and disgusting. The staff members are very friendly, but constantly staring at their phones and don't clean during the day.
The cutest place for toddlers ever! I wish they had longer hours. The staff is friendly. Fascinating decorations!
We held my daughters 4th birthday recently. I had first discovered this play area a few months ago during their Frozen princess event. I was so impressed by the environment & decor that I knew I had to have my daughters party here.
Communication was wonderful & quick. I let them have complete control of the decorations & it was amazing! All I wanted was to focus on her party. The owner & two attendants were so helpful. They also recommended the princess character company (which we loved!). All in all, a wonderful party. I had a few guests who said they wanted their own child’s birthday party there as well!
I would give this place 10 stars if I could .. I will not post photos of the place but I will post photos of why this is my favorite place but why they have thought of every single detail
1.if you are a mom of multiples that you have to have back and front eyes on your kids .. you will love this place because there is one entry way so your kids cannot run away from a different exit. the kids are locked in the playarea and can only enter or exit from the one playpen .
2. there is the cafe area where you can sit work and see your children .
3. they have thought of everything, there is wipes , diapers , a changing table, stool for kids to wash their hands , even bathroom hooks.
4. there is a cafe area with a childen highchair for kids as well as a small birthday area.
we also had our child 4th birthday in here we loved it they owner Courtney and Brian were contacting us back and forth to assure everything is smooth up to the date of the birthday party.
my only issue is that on weekends they only open until 12 pm and that's probably they are fully booked for birthday parties I wish they would open longer hours on Saturday and Sunday but it makes sense.
Excellent play space! Really friendly staff, convenient hours, and bar-none pretend play / imaginative play options. The actual toys and "buildings" are out of this world, I've never seen anything like them, certainly nothing like them anywhere near in Apex, Cary, Holly Springs, Fuquay, let alone the greater Raleigh area. Very clean environment, well maintained, feels very safe. I would definitely recommend this place
We love Piney Play House! It is big enough to have so much fun, but small enough that you don’t loose track of your kids while they play. We have been when we’re the only ones there and when it’s super busy but there is still plenty of toys for your kids to play with. The owner is very nice!
My kids (1.5 and 4) both love this play space, it's one of our favorite in Wake County! It's always clean, very friendly staff, and has a great bathroom with changing station. We love the changes the new owners have made this year. It's one of my favorite easy outings where my kids don't require much hands on help or supervision from me so I can actually sit back, or chat with a friend on a playdate which is a big win in my book! :)
We have been going to Piney Town Playhouse for years and just recently discovered some of the events they do. My daughter and I attended the daddy daughter dance last night and absolutely loved it. The staff was professional and courteous and the environment and activities they had scheduled were perfect for the kids. We definitely will be back in future years for this event!
I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of toys/themed shops there were in such a relatively small place, they did a great job with the space and made it very toddler friendly. I was also happy that it was not overly packed with people and kids, especially on a weekend. Definitely will be back!
Love Love Love coming here. It's a 30min drive from my place but worth it. I really like that its open at 8.30am on a Saturday! It's perfect for creative and imaginary play. My daughter is almost 2 and hasn't been bored of coming here yet. You can't eat your own food inside so think it would be cool if they set up some outdoor seating. The window gets painted with seasonal art work and it's always so brilliantly done. Can't recommend enough, think it's time I became a member.
