This was not our first trip to the Pink Pony but it will be our last. Sign said to wait to be seated. Hostess handed us 2 menus and told us to sit wherever we want. All but 2 tables were dirty or had people sitting at them. Note: There were 2 other couples in there eating so not like they were packed. Outside had 2 tables as well but on left 5 min after we arrived. Server seemed to have way more important things to do than to wait on us. She finally brought us our drinks and asked if we were ready to order. The first two things I ordered were not available. The 3rd was available but it had a different sauce on it. Fine. Whatever. My husband ordered the ribeye to be told it was not available but they had a strip that was good. Our food came out. It was not good. My burger was so cold that the cheese didn’t even melt and it wasn’t fully cooked. The worst part was the steak my husband ordered. We had to send it back twice just to get it cooked enough to eat the edges. Even after that, we had to take it back to the condo and cook it more. I love a good medium rare steak and I would not have eaten this steak due to it being so raw. I did give them 1 star because after we finished cooking it in our condo, it had good flavor. Unfortunately the weather didn't allow seating on the patio. The servers are so nice & quickly served our table with drinks. Every table was full. Our meal selections were whisked from the kitchen in minutes.Each plate was fantastic. Highly recommend dining here. Efficient & friendly staff. Well done everyone! This could easily have been a one star review if not for our server Hilary. The rating for service is the establishment overall. I would give Hilary a 5 but the other staff were rude and dismissive. We came in a round sunset on a night when apparently they were very short staffed. We finally got our name on the list, there were only a couple in front of us. After about 20 minutes we sat at one of the open tables on the patio. One of the servers asked if we were sat there and my husband explained we’re still waiting, by this time we’d been next for be seated. She was rude. Hilary came right behind her and apologized explaining the staff situation. She cleared the table and got us our menus and a drink. Service was slow over all but we weren’t in a hurry. Our food tasted good but was a little cold. Point being, I think must people if greeted properly by friendly staff that explain their situation will either stay and enjoy or leave and comeback another time. It seemed like Hilary was a one women show and handled it with grace and friendliness. If it wasn’t for her I think we would have left after we ate and never returned. Perfect lunch spot! Po boys are awesome. Both the fried shrimp and roast beef hit the spot. The entire menu looks awesome. Service was friendly and prompt. Everything that came out of the kitchen looked like we wanted to try it! Lots of drinks choices and the deck seating overlooking the beach is perfect. Came here off a recommendation from friend. Made sure to try the bushwhacker and pins colada which both were pretty good. Was blown away with the size of the chicken nachos we got. Overall service was decent just didn’t really seem attentive with all the people in an out.
