This pirate themed restaurant lies next to the water in Subic Bay. American inspired menu with grilled meat and fish and of course hamburger and milkshakes. It all tastes good and the portions are enormous. Two appetizers are more than enough food. Very delicious pizza too. Live music on Saturday nights.
The restaurant underwent major changes. From the menu to the staffs and service, the food is so affordable. They now offer set meals, Filipino foods, seafood and grilled set menu prices starts from 1500 that is good for 4 plus pax. Convenience for those who doesn't pay cash coz they NOW accept Credit card and debit card payments. Also GCASH and MAYA. They improved the Seaside Alfresco where Acoustic Bands play. They also have Karaoke Night from Monday to Thursday. They also accept event bookings for all occasions. Visit Pirates Bistro and feel the difference.

Recently discovered the "Beach" area. Daytime it does not seem like much, but there is a lovely sunset view.
Menu items are overpriced and limited.
I would return for the view.
Wifi available, parking on the street.
Had a good breakfast though I wish they had more choices. Cozy atmosphere with a beach frontage (bay view blocked by Alava Wharf). Cool pirate ship feel.
A must visit place while in SBMA. It is located beside a park and shoreline.. The price is alright because their servings are huge. They have a ship like motif and friendly staffs. They also have a parking space in front. Nice place to chill out.
Menu was different from what was posted online. They did not have most of their sizzling dishes, so we settled for sizzling sisig. When the order arrived, the plate was NOT sizzling and the sisig was not crispy. Moreover, there was a raw egg on the NOT HOT plate, so we doubt it cooked thoroughly.
The mango shake tasted so artificial that it makes juice in tetra packs taste fresh.
While the food wasn’t great, the service was worse. Despite coming in after lunch and being the only group there, it took at least an hour to serve our dishes. By contrast, upon asking for the bill, it came almost instantly. After paying, we were not given a receipt and had to request one. The receipt given was an official receipt instead of one with a breakdown.
The pirate theme of the restaurant also pretty much ends in the overall look of the bistro — not much pirate representation when it came to the ambiance nor even the uniforms of the staff.
Certainly a disappointing experience overall. We would not recommend this place!
