Pizzeria Da Gino is my favorite by far in Den Helder. The pizzas are delicious and huge (sharing can be a good idea). The staff is good vibe and competent. The prices are not excessive. Totally recommended. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Bang for your buck! Tasty food with HUGE portions and easy on the wallet. I asked for extra vegetables on my lasagna and it was accommodated for with no issues. Super friendly staff, all being able to speak Italian which adds to the atmosphere but all able to speak Dutch and English as well. Can only recommend further! Thank you Gino! I cannot recommend this place to anybody. Calcone pizza was dry and bleak, Hawaii does not have chicken or cream on top although I would argue it should have. Everyone could have their recipe, that’s fine but then when waiter (or owner) argue and being rude that’s more then I can get. He rushed us away from the table because there were somebody waiting … Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Gino’s is a really nice, authentic Italian restaurant 🇮🇹 Even though, it was very busy (Sunday dinner time), we have received excellent service. It was amazing to see how the entire Team was working together as a big family. They really put their heart and soul into the hard work that they do. They did not stop for a second, and they are still able to read their customers. Most places could learn from them, and see, how hospitality is done right. The food quality was great, and the portions are huge but you can take the leftover home 🍕🍝 The onion in the funghi trifolati was cooked to perfection and the mushrooms had just the right amount of char from the caramelization to make it delicious. I would love to know what kind of pan was used for this because I want to make at home! 🥰 Thank you so much for this great experience! ❤️ If I may give an advice, it would be helpful to see the icons of vegetarian dishes on the menu. If you love Italian food and great service you will enjoy this restaurant. Went with the Bruchetta pomodoro and it was excellent. For the main dish I ordered the spinach lasagna and it tasted great. I was unable to try a dessert on this visit. The offer was made for a complimentary limoncello and it was an excellent touch to finish the night. I highly recommend this restaurant! Had very nice carbonara spaghetti here! The default portion is really big... probably twice the portion you usually get in Amsterdam.

The best restaurant in Den Helder !!! I am here for a while and I eat almost every day in this place .... And till now every time it is better and better ... o love this place .... Everyone has to come and check it it is worth it !!!!

A nice and good restaurant located in the city center. Employees were very friendly. Place inside offer you plenty of space to sit. They have also sit outside. Menu is great with plenty of choice... from pasta to pizza... Pricing is ok. Ordered food was very good and fresh. You have a parking located just behind not too far. I highly recommend them.
