Food presentation was nice. The food was decent. Customer service was okay. Atmosphere is nice and cozy. Place looks inviting and enticing as it is gluten free, food looked nice as well when it came out. Food came out really quickly, my fries were room temperature. After eating, myself and my partner experienced stomach pain and the runs. Not sure what that’s about but I don’t think we’ll be back. Girl who took our order was nice. The gentleman who brought out our food didn’t say anything and just pointed at the plates on tray he carried over for us to grab. Strange behavior. While it has become easier to find vegan options at a lot of restaurants, it's usually pretty limited. My Husband had found Plantology and had been telling me we needed to try it based on the reviews and photos on Yelp. Immediately upon seeing them I agreed we needed to give it a shot! They have a huge menu, but we ordered 3 items - the Summer Nachos, the Cali Fries and the Street Tacos thinking we were really hungry and could easily share these plates. Heck, two of them are considered appetizers so no problem right? I wish we had been hungrier because not only were all 3 plates delicious, they were huge portions!! I mention this because again, vegan food is usually limited and with vegan items usually priced a little higher than average, you normally don't get a lot of food. We were pleasantly surprised to say the least and will definitely be back for more!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I really like the vibe of the place. It’s nice. My family and I got the cauliflower wings, carnitas tacos, the classic burger, and the Oaxaca bowl. I enjoyed the food and the lady that helped us was very friendly. I hope I’m in the area again to try some different things. Great experience overall. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. While this place is not cheap, it is not expensive either considering the quality of the food. Lifestyle changes, the food was great, was just too much food. If you’re trying to avoid sugar like me I wouldn’t add the maple syrup to the oat pancakes by the way we’re good w/o syrup. I realized the tortillas were red and black having dye in them I wasn’t supposed to consume. I will definitely patron Plantology again. There are few vegan restaurants in San Antonio, so I'm glad to see this one! The restaurant itself isn't very large. Order at the front counter. It feels like the restaurant may be short staffed. The interior is cute, with careful effort put into decor. There's a sign saying that all the disposable materials are recycled or composted. I don't know if that's true, but I hope that it is. I feel like they could probably make a little more effort to reduce waste and be sustainable. But hey, still better than most restaurants. I tried the nachos. They were fine. Not good as real nachos, but an acceptable diversion. I strongly encourage trying the "fried chick'n." Turns out that oyster mushrooms, breaded and fried, are a surprisingly decent substitute for chicken. The texture and grain are similar, although this "fried chick'n" isn't nearly as oily, and the stems of the mushrooms get tough. The menu is extensive, definitely lots to try. This is my second time at Plantology. Tried nachos and absolutely became my favorite. Very happy to find a vegan restaurant with delicious options. I only tried nachos and kids burger. Both were really good. Nice place to hang out with friends and/or family. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

First time, ordering was easy, cashier was very helpful in deciding what to order, food came out in about 10-15mins and it tastes as good as it looks, I would highly recommend this place, not just for vegans or vegetarians but foodies as well. Oh my goodness!!! I have never been so happy in my life. First off it is gluten free and plant based. Which someone who is gluten free, this is so incredible. This place is so allergy friendly it is beyond belief. Now we get to the food! I have never had chicken and waffels before, especially being gluten free, and let me just tell you WOW!!! The food was so good, the presentation was so beautiful and every bite was beyond exceptional. The staff was so incredible and kind. I can't wait to go here and try everything on their menu, which has never been possible for me before. Everyone needs to definitely go here and try out this incredible food!!!
