To be honest, I didn't expect such a good lounge in the international departure hall of Penang, given its small size. The range of food options isn't vast, but everything is fresh, especially the hot noodle soup. You can choose from various types of noodles or rice noodles according to your taste, and they all taste good. There are desserts, fruits, hot tea, coffee, meals, and soup, making it quite comprehensive. The downside is that the space is not large, and seating is relatively cramped. Additionally, there are two uncovered trash bins placed on a table between two coffee seats, forcing anyone in that area to face them regardless of where they sit.

Small functional lounge, given the size of Penang airport and how run down everywhere else basically looks, this lounge was not too bad. There's warm food, a mini egg station and coffee.
The indoor seating areas were well decorated and maintenance was alright. There are charging ports and sitting area split into 2 zones.
Food selection and drinks were basic, and coffee via the machine tasted burnt.
Toilet was decent though there's another one level down for public use.
Service staff were pretty attentive and helpful. Being the only lounge available, I suppose they dominate the scene.

Small and compact lounge but given the size of Penang airport and how run down everywhere else basically looks, this lounge was a blessing - especially as our flight was delayed for 2 hours.
Pretty sure they recently renovated the lounge and both the indoor and outdoor seating areas were well decorated.
Food selection and drinks was basic and some of the food wasn’t worth trying at all.
Toilet was decent but one out of two of the sinks was down and unusable.
Bar area was nice and the service staff were pretty attentive and helpful.
