Poke OLi is one of my favorite restaurants in New Haven. It’s walking distance from my house and the food and staff are always incredible. They have a wide variety to choose from but my personal favorite is their sushi burrito. You get to choose as many add ons as you’d like and personalize it to your choosing. Definitely stop by! Excellent food. Beautiful restaurant. I’m a big poke bowl and bubble tea person and this was the freshest poke and most refreshing bubble tea I’ve ever had! I ordered a poke bowl with two proteins, a yuzu lemonade, and a miso soup. The miso soup cup was not fully filled and small. The yuzu lemonade tasted like dipping sauce! It also barely had any ice. I spent $5+ on it and I barely finished any of it. The most disappointing part was the poke bowl. I really had high hopes as I couldn’t even find one bad review for this place and pokemoto had bad reviews for filling their plates halfway. Turns out this place also doesn’t fill their plates. They gave me the smallest portion of every topping and they missed a sauce. The tiny pieces of mango and pineapple were just funny and the kimchi tasted more salty than fermented and spiced. Also, I picked salmon as the two options of protein and this is how much salmon they gave me.

It's such a wonderful place. I'm so happy the neighborhood has a spot like this one. I lived here for years, and we never had a place like that. Great customer service and ambiance.
