We visited Poquitos last weekend with a group of 15 for a mini family reunion and took over the semi-private room. It was perfect for our large group. The service was wonderful throughout our 3 hour stay. They were extremely accommodating, allowing for the large number of people, a leisurely meal with lots of chat time and prepared bills for individual families which is unheard of for groups this size. We ordered drinks and appetizers and later dinner. The food was very good and enjoyed by all. Servings were generous. We had a few kids in the group and there were numerous menu offerings for the children. We will be back soon. We had a large party of friends going to an event in Bothell and Poquitos was the perfect place to go in advance. The reservation was very easy and communication was excellent. Our table was ready, the service was great and the Happy Hour menu was perfect. My kale and mushroom tacos were very good. We had a wonderful time and I would highly recommend! Thank you, Poquitos! A nice looking interior. There were a few disappointments... the bartender was a bit distracted and ignored us, did not follow thru with bringing us menus and also did not get a drink order - it was not busy - he just talked sports with another customer. Ordered the guac. It was plain. I hoped it had more flavor. The chips were on the way to stale. The tacos al pastor were great. The cranberry margarita tasted like it had tajin in it... if you are not a fan of that flavor, then just be aware. There are many other dishes, give it a try and make your own decision. The atmosphere is great! Love all the decorations! Ordered the barbacoa tacos and carne asada plate with the chips and salsa. Salsas had a great flavor but no real heat. Pico wasn’t bad but had mostly onions and could have used some additional seasoning. Tacos weren’t bad but have had better elsewhere. The amount of carne asada wasn’t bad but I’ve had bigger portions and better seasoned served elsewhere too. Our 3 year old loved her kid chicken tacos. Shot and beer combo was two thumbs up! Fun place, nice atmosphere, good servers. Strong and flavorful drinks. It's upscale don't go expecting your regular mom and pop Mexican food. I guess it just depends what you are looking for. Enjoyed the meals-I had enchiladas and really enjoyed them.
