I recently visited a restaurant that I unfortunately cannot recommend based on my experience. The food quality was notably poor, which was a major disappointment. Specifically, the black risotto, which I had anticipated to contain a variety of seafood, was made with imitation crab sticks instead. This substitution was a significant letdown, as it detracted from the authenticity and flavor I was expecting. Furthermore, the Caprese salad was another disappointment due to the use of very low-quality mozzarella. It’s clear that the ingredients were not carefully selected, which greatly impacted the overall dining experience. Overall, this was one of the least enjoyable places I have visited in Montenegro, and I would strongly advise against dining here. This restaurant prides itself for fresh seafood. We were indeed happy with the food we ordered. Stopped in this old town on our way to Kotor, and we're glad we did. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had such a gorgeous meal here, such a romantic atmosphere. Calamari was beautiful and spaghetti was declared the best ever, and he's fussy. Great food, great wine, great service, a must visit if you stay here. Ps I ate some of the calamari before I took the photo, I was hungry 🤷‍♀️ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Stopped off for dinner and was very impressed with the delicious food and excellent service - the staff were super friendly and helpful. Also loved the ambiance of eating al-fresco in the bella vista square. Great music and relaxing vibes all round. Well priced too. Will definitely dine here again. Overall good food, especially the side dishes (grilled veggies and potato wedges) were above the average we had so far in all the other restaurants. First time to Montenegro and first time to Portofino. The restaurant grabbed our attention when we visited Herceg Novi and vowed we would return to enjoy a meal during our holiday. We are so glad we did, the service was so friendly and the food was excellent from the Mediterranean Bruschetta to start to the Jumbo Prawns and Fish of the Day (Grilled Dorado) perfectly filleted at our table.
