Primi Piatti restaurant had a great location in the center of Strømstad and advertised serving Italian-inspired dishes. The premises seemed somewhat tired and the interior was a mixture of a Swedish cafeteria and an American diner. The menu appeared boring and consisted of a selection of pasta and pizza dishes. The prices were slightly higher than similar places in Strømstad. We chose to order a pizza with ham and a pasta carbonara. The food was served after a short time and was nicely presented. However, the food tasted very bad and seemed to be prefabricated. The bacon in the carbonara was stringy, undercooked and tasted sour. The service was non-existent and the employees seemed unengaged. Overall, the experience was a disaster that I wouldn't wish on anyone. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person kr 100–200

The food and service was amazing. Pizza was perfection and it may be the fastest i have ever gotten a pizza (and we were 5)

Excellent pizza, reasonable prices. I recommend one with gorgonzola cheese. Some mix ups with the order, but great service anyway. Let me bring my dog to the back garden and even provided him with a metal bowl of water. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person kr 100–200
