The restaurant is super cute, and it was extremely busy. The customer service was top-notch, which made my overall experience great. We ordered the sweet German pastry, apple turnovers, and a salted pretzel. The German pastry was mediocre; it was dry and needed some kind of dripping sauce, though perhaps that's how it was supposed to be. The apple pastries and fully loaded pretzel were delicious. Tastiest fresh pretzels are served with cheese sauce or mustard, your choice. Both Bakers-Owners Always have a cheery smile & happy voice.. Their Apple Strudel is even better reheated at home, that fresh-from-the-oven scent & taste are incredibly memorable. MY brother tried the Lemon Cookies, he said they are hands down, the best lemony flavor ever! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Very average pastries. Visually looks good, but taste is pretty meh. We ordered the Apple crisp and Pretzel. Both were pretty dry and not that exciting. Pretzel is just a puff pastry with some cinnamon made into a pretzel shape and topped with some very plain icing. I would save your money. So glad we stopped to check out this small sweet shop! We purchased a few cookies, chocolate chunks macadamia and the oatmeal 😋 they had so many other pastries. Staff was very nice and friendly. Definitely will visit again if we ever come back to Fredicksburg.

Why bother with a sit down breakfast when you can come here? Both pretzels were amazing. Everything tasted fresh. There is no place to sit and eat, but there are city benches along the sidewalk and a park nearby.

Wow this is really a gem in Fredericksburg!! Everything we had was so FRESH! Rare for most bakeries I feel nowadays. German Chocolate cupcake, apple crisp, and apple strudel were to die for!!

Cute little bakery with a German flare. Apple strudel, coconut macaron and apple crisp are slightly too sweet for my taste, but are exactly how I had it in Germany.
