I remember the first time I entered this establishment - I was just overcome with emotion and trembling because I have never seen a grocer treat me not only as a customer, but as family. The aisles were packed out and well stocked, and specifically the dairy department impressed me. This ambitious associate by the name of Kanon assisted me in my various needs (for reference, I am 5’4 and cannot reach anything) and I am eternally in debt. When I tried to tip him my 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLA and the deed to my 4.7 million dollar mansion, he simply denied it, saying that “he cannot accept tips” and “he must follow in Father George’s footsteps and obey the Publix code.” I have truly never met a more humble man. This Publix was a vast improvement to the neighboring store in Sugar Hill, where I was disappointed greatly by the quality of my shopping experience. (Specifically the bakery department at that store.)

Went in to order a cake. The people at the bakery are very sweet and helpful. It was easy to place the order. They also have a ton of things for Valentine's Day.

We just moved to the area. This is the closest Publix to our new home. Within 2 weeks, I’ve been approached almost EVERY visit (4xs) about my Service/Assistance Animal. The 1st three times, the young ladies were professional and accommodating. This evening walking towards the produce area, a white woman, pixie cut, overweight, mid 60’s seemingly, approached me passing in less than 30 seconds and says: “You’re not allowed to have a pet here!” Well HELLO to you too! I stated, she’s a service/assistance animal and flashed my badge which was already very visible. She says, “I see that! But FDA has a new policy for people with physical disabilities!” In less than 30 seconds, we have a person who can tell me what/if I have a disability and what my animal is capable of. She’s in the WRONG field isn’t she?! Well Karen, apparently you didn’t know what the new policy was either, considering you just ended with “just so you know”. Just so you know, I felt profiled and discriminated against and my animal as well. There is NO size requirement for a service animal, you do NOT know her capabilities nor my disabilities and she WAS tethered to me, which is an option for Service/Assistance Animals! NO other business ever harassed me, as I have been at this Publix. Not even the other Publix locations. What are you offering a Xmas bonus on profiling people for disabilities?! “Service animals are called “assistance animals” in Georgia, and the state defines them as dogs that are or have been trained by a licensed or certified person, organization, or agency to perform physical tasks for a physically disabled person. This definition includes: * Guide or leader dogs that guide individuals who are blind or legally blind * Hearing dogs that alert individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing to specific sounds * Service dogs for people with disabilities other than blindness or deafness, which are trained to perform a variety of physical tasks like pulling a wheelchair, lending balance support, picking up dropped objects, or providing assistance in a medical crisis” You are welcome!
I love Publix, all their displays of food, and other goods are so easy to shop the best products available. Publix is a very big step over all other Grocery Stores. I love it!!!

My favorite grocery store! Customer service is always excellent and they have a great selection of organic foods. The butcher at the meat department always accommodates my requests, for example, cutting a whole chicken in half and wrapping the two halves separately so I can make half for dinner and freeze the other half (since it’s just my husband and me). I have had them cut a frozen turkey in half so I can bake the two halves side by side so it will brown all over. I also like to buy loaves of specialty breads and have them slice them for me, putting half in one wrapper and half in another so I can freeze the half we are not eating right away. I love this store!

Gooey Chicken Tenders... Let me just say I've never had gooey tenders. To be clear, the breading was only halfway done. I should've known since it was falling off the chicken in the case, but I was in a rush. The lady who served me was nice, but I could feel there was a weird tension or hesitation. Perhaps she was trying to warn me. Thank goodness for air fryers. Whoever cooked the chicken I bought at 1:30PM on 10/6/2023 needs to review their procedures.
Location is good right off of a major street and surrounded by other stores in the plaza. First time at Publix and I felt like I was at Walmart. The four ladies standing behind the deli counter talking and laughing seemed so out of place for an establishment that is known for giving five star service. After waiting for awhile I interrupted their gathering and asked is anyone working... long story short, there weren’t many options of cooked chicken to choice from. Then when asked to have a 20 piece cooked with two of the posted flavors I was advised the flavors I wanted were not both available because they were out of stock. Which I never experienced at Publix. I was NOT able to get anything to eat and the bad service didn’t compel me to settle for whatever they had left. It was 6pm on a Saturday and they were out of food? Not the Publix way. I like the recycling bins,ATM, propane gas and the fire lane parking/drop off outside the store.
So I went to this place and they are so old school with no self check out I like to skip scan a lot so I don’t really come here
