This is a cool concept with vinyl and and coffee and the fact that they roast their own beans. I actually like the small space, i think it can be better decorated to lean more into the vinyl and coffee theme but that’s more a preference. Coffee itself is decent and prices are fair.
With all the things mentioned above I would come back here; HOWEVER, the service was just plain rude and extremely unhelpful. I understand this is a new(ish) business and I do hope they succeed but it is paramount that they address this service issue ASAP because this is no way to acquire and retain customers.

After several years of providing amazing coffee inside of the Jersey City Parks during various Farmers market, Rabble & Lion has finally open their own retail store. With incredible concern for each cup of coffee, you can't go wrong with anything on their menu. Peach tree items include gluten-free, vegan, and regular types of pastries. And if you're an audiophile, or just looking for a new record, you can pick up today's and yesterday's greatest Hits throughout the store.

Went to Rabble & Lion Coffee today to purchase coffee and get takeout coffee, and the overall experience deserves zero stars. The employee behind the counter was highly unmotivated and completely incompetent. I asked which coffees were which roasts and the reply was something along the lines of "I don't drink coffee do.im only guessing" Then I handed over one 12oz (340g) bag to be ground for pour over. Obviously, this was too much to ask, because what I received back was less than 2/3 of the contents I handed over. Beyond this disqualifying purchase, the chai latte didn't taste like chai, and we ended up tossing the hot chocolate after the 5yo, my wife, and I all thought it tasted terrible.
Not just a bad experience, but basically a fraudulent business for selling 12oz coffee and handing out less than 8oz.
